Small farmers porch with stairs to lake side patio. Dock, canoe, paddle boat for play time.

Getting away in comfort

The house is excellent with new appliances and very clean. The lake is wonderful with access from a private beach/dock. We had a great time at the lake and also enjoyed the local area with visits to the Franklin Pierce homestead and historic stone bridges. There is a pewter smith in the area as well as good access to golf. Leaving the lake was difficult, sitting in the sandy area near the water reading a book and exploring the lake on the watercraft were our favourite activities. Enjoyed the days in/on/near the lake and evenings in the very comfortable house. Great for a family looking for a peaceful place to get time away. The hill from the water to the house was a little bit of a climb but nothing we could not manage.

we greatly enjoyed our stay. the owner karl, was very helpful and the house is just beautiful, with great views, easy access and all the comforts of home. everything is brand new and having canoes and a kayak and paddle boat were finishing touches. would highly recommend this location to anyone.
