This property is simply one-of-a-kind. Pipeline Shores is the only three story house on the North Shore with over 7500 sq ft of spacious exotic living. The views are 180 degree panoramic unobstructed west facing beachfront from almost every room in the house. The Sunsets will blow your mind! The custom built stone Jacuzzi and deck area provide an oasis for entertainment and cocktails while you watch the sunsets and surfing directly in front. You can literally see from Sunset Point to Waimea Bay and you are looking right down the barrel of the world class Pipeline/Backdoor surf spot. In the summer, the beach is nearly 100 yards wide and 7 miles long of clean white sand. In winter, you will not find better surfing and whale watching anywhere else on earth. Relax and Barbecue on the large lanai overlooking everything! The kitchen and dining area are enormous; the house features 'two of everything': two fridges, two dishwashers, two washer/dryers, 3 TVs, custom bar area for living room. The top two floors are beautiful Brazilian cherry hardwood throughout. The spacious master suites (5 of them) all have their own beautiful stone/marble baths. With seven bedrooms, 4 futon beds, one twin bed, and a pool table room/entertainment area, there is room for everyone! Large balconies, outdoor toilet, showers. We provide beach chairs and several bikes for easy riding to local shops and restaurants, Foodland or coffee bean along The North Shore scenic bike path. A few hundred yards away on Ehukai Beach Park you can play basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, or just play with the little ones on the playground.
We had 21 family members stay here and we had the best family vacation. The three story house was clean with a spacious large kitchen with plenty of room for a large crowd and unbelievable views. A large dining table accommodated everyone to sit and eat together. There were plenty of beds, lanais, SPACE and of course the beach. The views from every window and balcony were amazing. The beach was nearly empty and we felt we were on our own private beach. We saw large sea turtles and a pod of dolphins. One ceiling fan was not working and management was out that day to fix it. We had plenty of parking, and even rode the bikes at the house to the local store. We loved the two washer/dryers, pool table, spacious bathrooms. The big screen television was a hit on quiet afternoons with plenty of movies available to watch. We loved seeing the movies dealing with the local area and surfing. It did get warm in July and with no air conditioning and we were a little uncomfortable. We bought fans from the local Walmart and that helped. It did reach 90 degrees during the day but cooled down at night. (A window unit in some of the bedrooms would have been nice to cool them down.) The outside showers were wonderful especially to cut down on the sand in the house. We were close to other beaches and the men went golfing at Turtle Bay. We went cliff jumping at the Rock which had underwater tunnels to swim through. There was swimming, snorkeling and food at Shark's Cove. Ted's Bakery with their infamous haupia pie (chocolate coconut)was within five minutes. Haleiwa had a craft fare at this time of the year with great shopping and food. We all went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for the day, which is a must to go and see, including the Luau. The LDS temple is in Laie with lovely gardens, grounds and old Banyon trees. The Dole Pineapple plantation is 20 minutes away with a fun maze. There was nearby hiking. Would we stay here again? In an heartbeat! Everyone had a great time. No one wanted to leave. Aloha.
We were fortunate enough to stay at this amazing house and have our wedding on the beach directly in front of it. With stunning views, direct access to the beach, this house was not only perfect for our wedding but more than met our needs as a vacation home. The rooms were spacious, modern and well decorated. The kitchen was a chefs dream, and the dining room was the ultimate setting for a quaint, romantic reception. We had the best time. Michael, from start to finish, made our stay very comfortable. The house has just been renovated and is everything it claims to be, elegant, modern and sophisticated. The photos do not do it justice. The experience, the atmosphere, and the people make this place unforgettable and somewhere we dream of returning. If you're looking for a beautiful house with a great location for surfing or just to take in the waves, this place is where you want to be. Michael was a fantastic host, making himself available at all times and recommending nearby restaurants for our late night dining. Thank you Michael for making our first trip to Hawaii a memorable one, and allowing us the honor of having our wedding at your beautiful place.

Amazing just begins to describe this rental. We had the entire family of 18 people which included 4 families and we had abundant room for everyone. Rooms were great, kitchen big, living room great, decor spot on and a view to blow your mind. What a treat to stay at this home. Owner was there when needed, place was clean and again an amazing view. We travel so much and it is hard to find a place on the internet that is exactly what you see and want but this is the place. I could write for days but I would run out of positive adjectives to describe this place.
The thunderous crashing waves, the sun sinking into the sea every evening, the palm trees swaying, the surfers trying their luck on magnificent waves on a breathtaking expanse of sandy beach known the world over as the Banzai Pipeline make the location one in a million. The house itself has had some great updates lately and is in excellent condition. Their is a wonderful den with large screen TV with cable and DVD player and awesome sound system. The kitchen is large and perfect for preparing food if you like to do that and the large dining room is a great place for friends and family to gather whether you are cooking in, grilling out on the deck, or ordered out. If you want to eat out there are top notch restaurants from 5 to 10 minutes away at Wiema or Turtle Bay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. Nearby there are places to snorkle, rent surfboards or wave runners. The best part for me was just to sit on the deck and watch the magnificent waves crash in as you sip a drink of your choice. My wife and I have had some great vacations on Barbados, The Cayman Islands, Switzerland, Greece, The Colorado Rocky Mountains, and Costa Brava in Spain, but by far, this was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation we have ever had in our 39 years together. I highly recommend this property for anyone who loves the ocean, likes top notch accommodations, and wants a vacation you will never forget. We will be back for sure and we hope it is soon!
The House at Pipeline on the North Shore of O'ahu is by far the most beautiful house on the North Shore. The new remodel turned out amazing with the new paint inside and out defiantly added Class to an already Classy and beautiful home. My wife and i spent or 30th wedding anniversary in this home over the past 10 days and cant wait till our next journey to the north shore to stay at this place again. Also all the amenities in the house are defiantly sent for either a couple or a big group of friends and family, just an amazing home on an amazing beach.... Can you say paradise!!!
We had a nice time in this house. First, I'll cover the good points. Mike, the owner, is helpful and responsive. The locations is FABULOUS. Sunset Beach is beautiful, clean, and deserted. The views from the living area of this home are amazing- we enjoyed some wonderful sunsets. The space in the house is great. One bedroom and bathroom suite is one the main floor, and the other three suites are on the upper floor. The largest of the upper floor suites is really two bedrooms in one, with two futons in the outer room- great for a family with kids. In the basement, there are two more bedrooms with a bathroom in between. These rooms are not of the same quality as the upper bedrooms- a bit shabby and damp smelling. Down the hall from the basement bedrooms is the game room, with a pool table, two futons, and another full bath. This house can hold A LOT of people. We had 12 and were very comfortable. Back on the main floor, the kitchen is very nice. There is a separate large refrigerator and a large freezer. There's another refrigerator in the garage, too. The range is an older Wolf range with double ovens- worked great. Countertops are granite, and there are plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and pots and pans. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. Now some of the negatives. The pictures that are posted are a few years old. Everything in the house is more worn and tired than what you see. The vinyl chairs in the dining room are so worn that they are shedding. The access panel on the front of the jetted tub in one of the bathrooms is held on with duct tape. And here is the worst: two of the door locks were broken so that THE HOUSE COULD NOT BE LOCKED. We contacted the caretaker but they were not fixed (doors may need replacing!). The whole place needs a deep cleaning, a lot of painting, and a lot of maintenance. All in all we enjoyed this house because of the space and the location, but you have to decide if you want to put up with the condition of the house.
15 Minute drive to Polynesian Cultural Center and Brigham Young University (BYU). Biking and walking distance to Shark's Cove and Foodland and Coffee Bean along scenic bike path. Many local restaurants and shops within biking and walking distance. Ten minute drive to the town of Haleiwa. World class diving, fishing, snorkeling, surfing all within steps of your door! Basketball courts and tennis courts a short walk away at the local park. World Class Skate park a short walk away.
