One-half block from Lake Calhoun and minutes from all the the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul have to offer, this 1930s lower duplex is in excellent condition (sleeps 8 max), 3 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 dbl), master bedroom suite with 3/4 tile bath, living room, formal dining room and a full kitchen w/ breakfast bar and new stainless steel appliances, gleaming hardwood floors and wood burning fireplace. Total of 1650 SF to enjoy. Full-size washer and dryer in basement for renters exclusive use. One car tuck-under garage and off-street parking available. Linens, cable TV, WIFI are included. Canoe and bike rental are nearby. It's a 2 minute walk to the east shore of Lake Calhoun, a 20 minute walk to Lake Harriet to the south or Lake of the Isles to the North.

Property is 1/2 block from Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway which offers 13 miles of bike and walking trails around the lake, 50 miles around the city, as well as the Como-Harriet Streetcar Line, live music (seasonally) at the Lake Harriet Bandshell, Bird Sanctuary, Rose Gardens and Peace Gardens near Lake Harriet and Baaken Museum of Electricity in Life across the lake from the property. Unit is near to other great museums and sites like Walker Art Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Guthrie Theater as well as dozens of local restaurants, galleries, theaters and music venues. It's a six block walk to bars, restaurants, shopping & entertainment of Uptown commercial district.
