Our family vacation home is located near the Tahoe Keys area of South Lake Tahoe, just minutes (4.5 miles) from Heavenly Ski Resort, beautiful Lake Tahoe, world class casinos and restaurants, and all the great shopping of the South Tahoe area. The great room is large, yet cozy with a huge brick fireplace to warm you after a day of skiing. Our fully equipped kitchen is just right to prepare even the biggest of holiday dinners. Our enormous backyard is great for a barbecue after a day of boating on the Lake. Tahoe provides the ideal site for summer and winter activities like kayaking, hiking, swimming, fishing and para-sailing. Whether you're looking to set sail across the Lake or explore the rocky shoreline, it's sure to be an amazing adventure. We are just a few minutes from Camp Richardson, Emerald Bay, Sierra Ski Resort and Kirkwood. The great hiking in Desolation Wilderness provides family fun all year long. Pets Considered.

Our family vacation home is located in a wonderful, safe, quiet, residential neighborhood. It's within walking distance of a beautiful meadow and creek and just a short walk down to the 'Fresh Ketch' restaurant at the Tahoe Keys Marina. After a wonderful dinner there you can extend your walk to take you to the walking pier at the Lake. It's close enough to walk to major grocery stores & the factory stores.

Notes: Our family vacation home is designed for big family and group gatherings. Washer and dryer are large capacity. Kitchen is big and roomy enough for even the biggest of holiday dinners with all the trimmings. Large dining room table with window seat for extra guests. Great room has a grand brick fireplace that really takes the chill off in the winter. There is a sofa bed as well as a couch and love seat for extra guests, along with several extra sleeping bags for the kids. Our big backyard is great for outdoor barbecues and sitting around the fire pit. We offer Dish network TV with 2 DVR recorders, including several HBO channels, stereo system, DVD/VHS player too. Over 250 books for relaxing while the kids are at the beach. Puzzles and games for evening family play around the table after dinner. All linens are provided. Credit cards accepted through Paypal

Scenic wonderland: Lake Tahoe is often referred to as the jewel of the Sierra's for good reason. There are numerous walking trails just waiting to be explored. Tahoe's pristine clear aqua blue color takes your breath away. Our house is conveniently located just 4.5 miles from the state line casinos and Heavenly Valley. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are many wonderful restaurants, grocery stores and shopping that is very close as well. Snow parks and snow mobiling all minutes away. Hiking Trails, scenic walks and national and state parks are all close by as well as two world class golf courses.

A Father's Promise: My sisters and I grew up in the late 1960's spending our summer and winter vacations at our grandparents small cabin in Lake Tahoe. It became our home-away-from home over time. Sadly our grandparents chose to sell the home when we were in high school. My father made a promise to us that someday we would have our own place at the Lake. Twenty years ago my Dad made good on his promise to us and he continues to this day to be the most generous of patriarchs. It brings him great pleasure now to know that we are enjoying the 'Lake House' with our own families. He also loves to hear about it when another family is using it to make their own memories. I have stayed at this house 2 times now....the location and the area is great....great access to all places in tahoe...love the bike access to the beach and the fact that the bikes are provided...quiet neighborhood....the house is equipped with everything you could need and want. It is like being in your own home but completely stress free. The house is really clean and ammenities provided well. Alot of room for many people to stay comfortably. I would definately recomend this for anybody looking to have a great vacation

Tahoe stay with 11 plus pet

We loved it. House felt very comfortable and at home. Very convenient and easy to find. Easy access to everything...groceries, restaurants, lake .... looking forward to renting again. Fenced backyard was perfect because our Old English Bulldog is part of the family.

Highly recommend staying at this place

We enjoyed this home so much. It was the perfect place for a large family gathering. My family recently was in Tahoe for my daughter's wedding and it was a wonderful place to gather before and after the wedding. It is homey, comfortable but had all the amenities we needed.
It is close to many restaurants, shopping centers etc. We had a minor problem upon arrival at the house which Kristin took care of immediately. The house had EVERYTHING we could possibly want or need for a vacation.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a vacation home in South Lake Tahoe.

I love this place. If you are going to Tahoe, this is the place to stay. They call it a cabin and it does feel like a cabin but it's so much more. The house is big enough for everyone. It's roomy and cozy...totally feels like Tahoe. The nice quiet, relaxing side of tahoe where you can go to get away from it all and relax. The kitchen has everything you. The house is perfectly located in a lovely quiet area close to skiing, marina, and stateline. Camp Richardson is just a few miles away. I always go horse back riding there. It's great. Also, you are close to public transportation, shopping, & movies...Truly, the perfect vacation get away.
