Tranquil beauty surrounds this rustic new home on 8 private ac. with 1/4 mile of spectacular oceanfront. Relax or play on the pink sand beach or explore the pink granite shorefront, where privacy is yours & a neighbor will never be encountered. Home is finished in knotty pine & wainscot and boasts an abundance of Marvin doors and windows offering views in every direction. The 22'x24' LR, with natural stone fireplace is surrounded by glass and extends out onto the point where the amazing views & natural light continue, or unwind in the sitting room on the west side with cozy gas fireplace, TV and amazing sunsets. The large, eat-in kitchen has a wall of windows on the east side so you can watch the sunrise as you make your day plans over coffee & breakfast. A large deck wrapping around the end of the house & second floor deck over LR, provide panoramic views. Enjoy tidal changes, but alway have easy access to swim &kayak from shore. You will not find another property like this!

Nearest Ferry: Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor at 12 Miles

A long private drive, 8 ac. and 1/4 mi. of shorefront give complete privacy, quiet and plenty to explore! After searching the tide pools, swimming or launching a kayak from shore get out and explore all that Schoodic Peninsula offers. There are some great area restaurants, live entertainment, festivals throughout summer and early fall as well as local shops, antiques, galleries and golf. The Schoodic Point section of Acadia Nat'l Park is a great spot to hike, bike, paint or simply relax and watch the waves crash along the rocky shoreline, some of the best in Maine. Hop on the ferry to Bar Harbor and take your bikes along and/or use the Island Explorer bus (free!) and hit all the area destinations or go out on a whale watch. Experience the hustle and bustle for the day and then come back and unwind, enjoying the cool ocean breeze, endless views and peaceful surroundings. Talk about the days adventures and plan the next as you walk on the shore and make some real Maine memories.

We had a fabulous time relaxing at this very private get away...it was so beautiful by day sitting on the beach watching the loons and the ducks..we even saw a bald eagle ...and at night was wonderful listening to the loons as we drifted off to sleep..this is a must for those who just want to get away from everything......We have already booked for next summer and plan to go several weekends in the fall as the leaves start to change we thought along with the incredible ocean view it would be breathtaking.....Dan and Tammi highly recommend this as outstanding..off the chart!
