First let me say that words can't describe how wonderful this place really is. Living in Florida we have always wanted to visit the west coast and run a 1/2 marathon, so for our 30th anniversary we did both and stayed at Healdsburg Country Gardens. From the moment we first arrived Barbara was very pleasant and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and the area is sp peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking our coffee in the mornings. Barbara had everything we needed in the cottage including a bottle of wine that came from grapes grown in their vineyard. The Healdsburg area is very quaint with great restaurants and plenty of wineries. The next little town, Geyserville, has a coffee shop we frequented often to get our afternoon pick-me-up, The Geyserville Mud. Healdsburg Country Gardens is a perfect place to stay, convenient to everything, peaceful, and provided us with the perfect wine country experience. We will definitely be back!!

Sounds like you enjoyed the Healdsburg area a lot --there are so many fun things to do here beyond all the wonderful wine tasting. We'll have to zip up to Geyserville and try the Geyserville Mud for coffee ~ thanks for the heads up on that!
