This home was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. The house was very private, and the deck/pool area is gorgeous. The house is beautifully appointed in an elegant island decor, but it is very comfortable and you feel right at home. There are sliding glass doors all along the ocean side of the house for great views and wonderful breezes. We didn't have to use the airconditioning once because of the cross breezes through the house. close to Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook via car, and the pocket beach was perfect, we had it all to ourselves most days. Don't miss Udder Delite near the house - they make the best "adult' milkshakes in the world. A wonderful home, highly recommended!

The property and Villa were magnificent. Very private. While not for the faint of heart (50 steps up to the car park or down to the front door) it was good exercise. Can't say enough about the View and how well the property was maitained. We highly recomend it and hope to be back soon.

Owner's Response: What a Lovely review & Thank You! Our Very Private cliffside & oceanfront locale could only be possible because of our very unique location set amoungst the boulders. Our cliffside staircase is what makes this possible & OH SO PRIVATE. Once you arrive, you will see that the entrance down to the Villa will be Very Welcoming & it is a Very Dramatic & Beautiful approach to our Villa's entry. The staircase is NOT steep at all & we have 4 landings down to our Very Private "Grotto" pool. Then down to the entrance of our Mango Tango Villa. Welcome--Your Villa Awaits!!

The villa was beautifully decorated and very well kept. There was a gorgeous view of the ocean from most rooms in the house. It was a very private location. It was nice to have a poolside chair that you didn't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get like most large hotels. One recommendation is to get pads for the pool chairs which would make them more comfortable when enjoying the pool all day long.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Mango Tango. The Peterborg area was very private, but yet near some very nice beaches. Magen Bay is a 5 minute drive and we went there on a Friday when the cruise boats were NOT in town. We also enjoyed Hull Bay, another beautiful, quiet beach nearby.The "Secret Pocket Beach" was a special treat for all of us.

The villa was very well maintained and decorations are lovely. We were very comfortable there and it became home for the two weeks. The different levels of the house offered places to go if you wanted to be alone. We enjoyed sitting on one of the many decks and just watching the ocean and boats. In the afternoon, we would move to the pool area and the grotto - which also offered ocean views. The sounds of the ocean crashing on the boulders below us, lulled us to sleep every night.

And of course, Udder Delite is not to be missed!

We have stayed at many villas over the years, and Mango Tango is at the top of the list!
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway, Adventure Seekers

We were so surprise when we arrive at Mango Tango. Everything that the owners mention in their ad about the home was true. It was even more true than anything else. It was like a place you see only on T.V. Out of all the villia that I looked at Mango Tango was the only one that caught me eyes. It was days, that we didn't leave the house, because the view was just so beautiful. I was just so sad that the week went by so fast. I never won't to leave. I would definitly come back to Mango Tango anyday.
I want to really thank Mrs. Martin for all of her help.
