This wonderful lakeshore-neighborhood home is located on a quiet street in South Haven's historic South Side area known as Doctor's Row. Situated on a 1/2 acre lot with a yard perfect for entertaining. The private neighborhood beach is a short stroll away with stairway to beach. Over 1500 square feet of living space on main floor and 5 bedrooms/2.5 baths make this a perfect family vacation home. Living room centers around the open gas fireplace with views of the large yard. Dining room French doors and family room open to the large deck complete with fire pit for evening entertaining. Newly remodeled kitchen with eating nook overlooks the family room . Upper level has a King bedroom with sleeper sofa and private bath; a queen bedroom; and a third bedroom with twin bunk bed and a futon/twin bunk bed. Lower level with egress windows has a full bedroom with sitting room and a room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen/futon sleeper.

Shared Access Beach: The beach access is just a short stroll up the road from the house. The access stairway is shared with several neighbors and it just 65 steps down with landings. The beach at the bottom of the steps has accumulated some rocks and sandy beach is about 30 yards down from stairway. Chairs at the top of the bluff make for great sunset views of Lake Michigan!

June-2009: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate home in South Haven. We had 4 families gathered for our annual trip to the beach. The house was spacious and met all of our needs. There were multiple TVs, so the teens could each enjoy watching movies. We were only a short drive to our favorite beach, North Beach, close to downtown South Haven. The home was also situated on a private beach with neighborhood access. We grilled out everyday and enjoyed the awesome patio in the back yard. We will definitely return. The rental process went very smoothly. Owner was great to deal with. Thanks for a great vacation.
