About Scott Deley
I travel a lot and enjoy modern architecture. I spared no expense when remodeling this space, it's a modern architectural reflection of Whistler and it's surroundings. The interior design was done by Lynne Darby who has done work for some of Conde Nast top 10 hotels of the world.
Scott Deley purchased this condo in 2002
Why Scott Deley chose Whistler
I previously owned 2 condos in the Woodrun building. When this condo became available I jumped at the chance as it is one of only six units that are directly facing the ski slopes. This condo is one of the few in the building that was completely remodeled sparing no expense. The resulting finishes and traveler reviews reflect this.
What makes this condo unique
This is a true ski-in/out location. It is close enough to the village that you can walk everywhere, yet far enough that you will not experience the noise and party atmosphere of the village when you go home for the night to relax. The Woodrun building itself is considered the best in Whistler, it is of concrete construction therefore it is very quiet in the suites and therefore you will not hear your neighbors.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Thank you Woodrun Lodge for changing my experience entirely for snowboarding. I just absolutely love the experience of putting on your gear and riding out to the ski lift to start off the day(http://static.px.yelp....). The area is just beautiful and just waking up and seeing the snow outside and knowing you can just go out and jump in it is great.
And at the end of the day, you can just ride back to the lodge and just settle. This worked out perfectly for me when I was up at the resort for Superbowl(http://static.px.yelp....). At 3:30 PT, I just rushed back to the room and caught the 1st quarter of the game. Thank you thank you thank you..
And to seal the deal, they got a great jacuzzi hot tub outside where you can just soak up and rest your muscles from the beating it took from the mountain. Outdoor jacuzzis are awesome, especially when it's snowing lightly.
The room we stayed in was 209 and it was a awesome. The theme was blue and it just matched perfectly with the window looking outside to the snow. There was a heating/drying device for your boots and other ski equipment(http://static.px.yelp....).
The kitchen was magnificent and fully furnished to all your needs. And who can forget the wine cellar!(http://static.px.yelp....) To the person who owns that lodge, they've got great taste and thank you for having us there.
