The Wren's Nest is a beautiful retreat in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The Chalet is brand new and definitely shows the attention to detail throughout from unique twig work, plush white towels, egyptian cotton sheets. We have created a very cozy atmosphere in our cabin and we're sure you will feel right at home. You can spend sunny days walking in the neighborhood, or read a book on the front porch swing. There are books of all sorts, movies to watch and board games to play! Or you can travel to Hiawassee for antique shopping, or shop at the wide variety of local shops. Hiawassee is only 31/2 miles from your front door. So please come have a visit, we would love for you to be our guest.

Accommodations & Accouterments: Come spend a romantic few days or quality time with family and friends at the Wrens Nest. The Wren's Nest is conveniently located 5 minutes from Hiawassee, and only a stones throw from lake access for boating and fishing. Bring your own boat and dock it at Boundary Waters Marina (3 minutes from cabin) or rent a pontoon, jet skies or kayak and spend the day on beautiful Lake Chatuge. Families with children may want to visit the local Lama or Clydesdale Horse farms (Open on Saturdays) east of Hiawassee or go to the public beach for a picnic and let the children enjoy the large playground just steps from the beach...Other attractions include Fun World (lazer tag, go carts, arcade games) and Fun World Cinemas all within 10 minutes of the Wrens Nest. Nearby Brasstown Valley Resort offers a spectacular mountain Golf experience with scenery as breathtaking as the play is challenging. The Stables at Brasstown offer horse and pony rides for all experience levels. Saturday Evenings on the Square(weather permitting ) offers free concerts with local artist performing.

Picture perfect cabin...

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this cabin...the pictures do not do it justice! It is decorated with the perfect blend of designer touch and comfort. The three different balcony areas were perfect for enjoying the relaxing morning and evening hours. Throughout the property, the touches of rock and tile work add so much to the rustic appeal of the cabin. Blairsville and Young Harris were wonderful places to explore and the mountain views were breathtaking. I will definitely return and recommend the cabin to friends and co-workers. Tina is wonderful to deal with...extremely professional and personable.

Could not have been better!

We were in need of some much needed time away and our all to short stay at the Wren's Nest more than fit the bill. The house is absolutely beautiful and well equipped for an enjoyable stay. Short drive to town and close to a couple of really good wineries. We booked on short notice and Tina was very easy to work with on getting things taken care of. We will most certainly be staying there again and will be sure our friends and family are aware of the Wren's Nest.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Wren's Nest. The inside of the cabin was lovely and we felt quite at home. We wished the covered porch was in back to view the lake on the rainy days we were there! Only suggestion; the utility room on lower level needs a table to put clothes on and the light was burned out so doing laundry was rather difficult. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

Happy Anniversary to US!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Week's Nest! We felt right at home, we cooked breakfast almost every morning we stayed, and even cooked dinner one night! The kitchen was well appointed to suit our cooking needs (except napkins, which we kept forgetting to buy, lol)! We would recommend this cabin to all of our family and friends, in fact, I have already had a co-worker stay there already. The owner and the people of Hiawassee were all so warm and welcoming, which made our 9th wedding Anniversary all the more special. Also, please try the Southside Restaurant, the breakfast was delish!!

Magical Cabin

Renting this particular cabin for the weekend was an unexpected anniversary gift for me, from my Husband! :) So, though I was a bit leery about it at first, all hesitation quickly disappeared the moment we stepped through the front door late that Friday night -- Wren’s Nest turned out to be absolutely enchanting!! Being greeted by the sparkly Christmas tree in the welcoming warmth of this charming home was truly a magical moment – one of many that made for a wonderful anniversary surprise, as well as a pleasant rejuvenation of spirit fostered by the tranquility, comfort, and Harlequin novel type magic that your lovely chalet exudes!

The décor, furnishings, cleanliness, amenities, location, convenience, surroundings, everything... was EXCELLENT! How wonderful is it that the same romantic hideout we discovered on this visit, is also one we would definitely consider/recommend for a fun family outing in the future!! Thank you for sharing this delightful, versatile haven!
