Two Golf Courses, Mystic Lake Theatre (Vegas type shows), two casinos, Several Gourmet Restaurants, Spa/Health Club all less than two miles! Near Cantebury Downs Race Track, Valley Fair Amusement Park, Cleary Lake Regional Park (many trails). Mall of America is quick and easy drive as well as airport. Shuttle Service Available! Easy access to Eden Prairie, Bloomington for those corporate areas. This is an ideal location because of the lack of traffic. Staying downtown may mean a few less miles, but likely more time in the car due to traffic and stop lights!

Check rate notes to see how many people are included, additional people at $10/night or $50/week per person (children 2 & under free). Basement will easily accomodate 8 or more. This is a wonderful, fun and very private basement. ALSO, we have 2 babysitters available for your nights out on the town or meetings if your children join you! If you are an adult only party -- please know we give you all the privacy you need and this is in a golf community on a gorgeous course with many 'grown up' attractions a short drive (2 casinos, bars, restaurants, etc.)

Our location is IDEEAL, because of the lack of congestion it often takes less time to get somewhere than staying 'downtown' or at 'airport' because of lights. Mostly freeway and non-crowded travel. SHUTTLE CAN BE ARRANGED, rental car recommend.

Ski: Buck HIll Ski Area is the closest ski area. It is a wonderful ski area offering beginner to intermediate runs and also has lots of ski board & snow tubing!Please visit their website. We are also about 20 minutes from the Highland Ski Area. Highland is excellent for beginner skiers and there is an advanced ramp for those who do extreme ski jumping.

Golf: TWO GOLF COURSES WITHIN 1 MILE! Please go to the Wilds golf course website and also to the Mystic Lake Casino web pages. These are both top notch (not beginner) courses. Additionally, Cleary Lake Preserve has a beginner level golf course just about 5 miles away which is located within an area with a lake, swimming, canoing, and trails! There are also additional golf courses in Prior Lake and Scott/Dakota county such as the 'Preserves' and the 'Legends' and more. Please mapquest Prior Lake, MN and you will find more golf courses than you will have time to visit! Walk out the backyard and see the 18th hole and club house over the small lake our beautiful back yard is located on. 'Chip' balls from the back yard into the small lake if you want to! The driving range is less than a mile away! The Wild's requires Golf Carts and you can drive your cart right to your home to catch lunch between holes if you want or enjoy the club house.

Other Activities: Visit all the great Lakes, Mall of America, Museums & so much more!!!

You MUST visit! Superb !!

This was our home away from home for many weeks as we transitioned from Maryland to Minnesota. In addition to being an exquisite luxury property right on The Wilds golf course (with a superb and reasonably priced restaurant I might add), Portia and her family went out of their way to take care of our every need to include airport pickups, offering to store our car, family dinners as our schedule allowed, and true, sincere "Minnesota Nice" hospitality. A fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous views, hot tub and serene setting made this the perfect getaway as we faced the rigors of moving. The theater room was superbly awesome, the kids loved it for gaming as well as movies. A movie-theater quality popcorn machine just added the finishing touch! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Great Location, Great Value, Great Hosts!

This beautiful walk-out basement apartment is indeed a luxury apartment. The kitchen is gorgeous with beautiful cabinetry, granite counter tops, high end stainless steel appliances and tile floor. The bathroom with triple sinks and luxury fixtures was very convenient for getting ready for the day each morning. The home theater with vast selection of movies and TV stations was very well utilized. The living room was also very well appointed. The master bedroom was a great size. The only disappointment we had was the comfort of the queen size bed - it did not seem it matched the quality of everything else in the apartment.

The location is fantastic, right on a beautiful golf course, quiet neighborhood yet not more than 10 miles from any major shopping, restaurants or conveniences. Mystic Lake Casino is just minutes away and has a wonderful buffet restaurant for any meal of the day (no, I don't generally like buffets either). Valleyfair and Canterbury Park (horse racing) are also just minutes away. Mall of America and downtown Minneapolis are also within a 30 minute drive.

This was definitely far superior to a hotel room. We never felt that we had to get 'out' because of space limitations and after a long day of sight seeing or shopping it was great to come back to a beautiful spacious place to relax and recharge our batteries for the next day.

Our hosts were friendly and personable and very helpful with advice for activity ideas and local driving directions etc - in some cases better than my GPS!

All in all we were very impressed. Our party included my wife, my 18 year old daughter and myself. The value, especially for a 1 week stay is unsurpassed.
