What makes this house unique
Sunrise starts the day as you look across 3 miles of open water and up into the mountains with Pinacle Mountain, Sassafrass Mountain, and Table Rock in the distance. Play games on the terraced lawns adjacent to the shore. Go canoeing, tubing, skiing, cycling, fishing, hiking, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the lake breezes....
Guestbook comments from the owner
Jocassee Lodge is a fabulous place to reconnect with your family. You can find everything you need nearby but without all the distractions of more crowded vacation spots. We explored every nook and cranny of this georgous, unspoiled lake and swam under waterfalls and hiked up the streams that fill the lake with its remarkably clear cool waters. It is hard to believe how cool the lake is even in the heat of August. We saw a bald eagle catch a trout right out of the lake!
The owners were very accomodating and have great attention to detail. The house is perfect for 2 families with plenty of room to spread out. The covered porches, lakeside lawns, patios, dock are very private and peaceful with long views of the lake and mountains.
We will be back again soon.
