Light-filled Tahoe Keys waterfront home with private dock has upstairs living. The master retreat with TV and adjoining private library and deck have views of Heavenly Ski Mountain and the rising sun. The gourmet kitchen with raised breakfast bar, dining area, and family room all have views of Mount Rubicon. Family room has two recliners and a swivel rocker as well as a sofa, gas fireplace, and entertainment center. All sofas convert to extra guest beds. A small deck off the dining room shelters the outdoor grill. Upstairs washer and dryer. Downstairs, 2 queen bedrooms share a full bath adjacent to the game room with pool table and wetbar with refrigerator. Privacy side-yard fencing shields the outdoor jacuzzi. Guests may use Tahoe Keys amenities, (some at a nominal fee) including seasonal outdoor pool, playground, swingset, year-round indoor olympic pool, tennis courts, and private sand beach on Lake Tahoe. Heavenly ski resort 4 miles. Casinos 5 miles.

Important Information About this Property: Vacation Rental Permit VHR #102022.

Maximum occupancy is 10 persons (infants/toddlers excluded).

Vacation Rental may NOT be used for weddings or unlawful large parties.

Maximum parking allowed is 5 vehicles. No RV or trailer parking allowed in driveway or on the street.

The pet deposit is refundable provided the dog is a non-shedding breed and no damage is incurred to the property.

Overnight stay and parking is defined as 10 pm through 6:00 am.

If the police are called out for a disturbance you will lose your security/damage deposit as well as be liable for any fines. Fines may be up to $500 and/or jail time.

For Guests with Infants: A porta-crib with bedding, highchair, and playpen are available uon request.

  • South Lake Tahoe Rental Authority taxes are based on the sum of the rental and cleaning charges.
  • Daily rates vary with the time of year from $200 to $425 per night. Minimum stays also vary from 2 nights to five nights. Additional guests after 6 incur $25 per person per stay. Dogs may be considered and must be pre-authorized by owners and will incur an extra possibly refundable fee; no other pets allowed inside or outside. Security Deposit ($500) required at the time of reservation. At check-in Security Deposit converts to refundable Damage Deposit and cannot be applied to rent. One half of charges due 60 days prior to check-in. Final half of charges due 30 days prior to check-in. Provided there are no damages to inside or outside of home and there are no infractions of the rental agreement, the Damage Deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure date. No refunds will be issued for early departure.

  • Upstairs, the large master suite has a king-sized bed. A rocker/recliner with footstool sits beside the bed for your added comfort when viewing the master cable TV when not in the bed. The sofa in the adjoining private library converts to a queen sleeper. The private master deck has a romantic table for two as well as one in the library. All three areas view Heavenly Ski Mountain. The mirrored walk-in master closet is massive and has built-in storage for shoes and sweaters. Downstairs, bedrooms have queen beds and mirrored sliding-glass closets. There is a large window seat in Bedroom 2 with a view of the water. Underneath the window seat is extra storage. Each bedroom has personal guest storage on either side of each bed.

Notes: The flat screen TV has a Roku device and Netflix is available to guests. The family room has a 3 foot square chess/checker table with matching stools overlooking the outdoor jacuzzi tub. Videos, CD's, DVD's, and games are also there for your enjoyment using the flat-screen TV with home-theater sound. Upon request a porta-crib, highchair, and playpen are provided. The kitchen is better stocked than you would imagine; there is a food proceesor and rolling cabinet drawer/shelves to amke item retrieving easier.

Home away from home

We stayed here with two other friends mid way through a Californian road trip. After a lot of driving and sightseeing in both Death Valley and Yosemite National Parks we were so happy to spend a couple of days in this lovely convenient home, cooking delicious meals, catching up on laundry etc. The house is large and comfortable offering plenty of privacy to all of us, as well as a fantastic open plan living, cooking and dining area upstairs for when we wanted to socialise. The neighbourhood is very quiet and pretty. We also enjoyed some lovely scenic drives and walks around the southern end of the lake.

Marsha was a pleasure to deal with at all times. We are from Sydney, Australia - and Marsha even made the trip to the house on our check out day to return our security deposit in cash/in person as we don't have a US bank account. Now that's service!

We would recommend this place to friends and family without hesitation.

Great vacation home for groups/families

We stayed in this house two weeks ago for a long weekend and it was wonderful. Everything was very clean and appeared just as in the pictures. We had a group of 8 adults and 1 baby and the house was spacious enough to accommodate us all comfortably. In particular, we found the hot tub and the dock to be great amenities, and we enjoyed making meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We would be happy to return to this home anytime. (I should also note that the owner was very prompt and courteous in her communications with us and fulfilled our expectations according to what was laid out in the rental agreement.)

Owner's Response: The home's furnishings were placed with the needs of guests in mind. We aim to please the most discerning clients and we are happy that we met your expectations. The baby crib (with bedding), playpen, and highchair are not often needed but when they are we want them available and clean. The storage pier cabinets next to the beds keep the bedrooms spacious while allowing for ample guest storage and the recliners hidden within the sectional sofa get rave reviews. The swivel rocker is always appreciated by both baby and mom. My primary management goals are to be available immediately for clients via, phone fax, or email and to correct any problem quickly. Ideal vacation spot!

My family and I stayed at here for 5 days and wish we'd planned for a longer vacation. The house has everything you could need or want. The location is great and having a pool table and hot tub on site ensured that everyone was entertained and had something to do. I loved that the family room was connected to the kitchen and dining area. Everyone was able to socialize and no one felt excluded while preparing dinner. Also, we had a young child in our group and the home already had a great high chair, portable crip and pack-in-play available for use. It was so nice not to have to lug those items with us in the car. I have no complaints and can't wait to stay there again for our summer vacation next year!

Memorable Family Vacation

This was a true home away from home, with all the conveniences of home. The kitchen is very well equipped with double the dishes and all the kitchen equipment you may need if cooking is your thing. Should you want to go out for dinner you are only minutes from restaurants and/or a bike ride away from the best ice cream at the end of the Richardson Camp Trail which is a beautiful trial at one of the entrances to Tahoe Keys.
A short ten minute ride away is Emerald Bay with breath taking views and beautiful walking trial to the beach and Vikingholm castle which is being restored and are the park is now offering tours.
We very much recommend this home for your next family vacation and/or get away it offers everything you may need with a covenient floor plan, a pool table, jacuzzi with a great location for quiet rest, yet only minutes from restaurants, walking trails, beatiful scenaries, shopping and even casinos.

Excellent house with everything you will ever need included!

We absolutely loved renting this house. It is super clean (no dusty carpets and corners!), well taken care off and has everything you might need during your stay. We took a family trip to Tahoe and the whole family enjoyed the spacious, bright bedrooms, comfortable beds, crispy clean bedding and towels. There was a pool table that we all took advantage of at least a few times a day and a pre-heated (!), ready to use hot tub. The hot tub was an awesome treat after an entire day in the snow and cold. The house is very bright and airy, and there are little balconies you can sit out on and enjoy the view.

The transaction with Marsha was flawless. She stayed on top of all the e-mails, returned all my phone calls and never complained about the amount of questions and changes I had. We are looking forward to rent again. Thank you, Marsha!!
