Step back in time...:
Built in 1889 as a rooming house, by Jasper & Mary Avery, Fernside remained in the same family until November 2007 when great grandaughter, Beth died at the age of 88. After her passing, the old inn was fully restored inside and out and brought back to its original country beauty. The first floor features a beautiful country kitchen with the original farmers sink, new gas stove, new dishwasher and new refrigerator. The dining room seats 8 people comfortably. The living room features colorful antique wicker furniture and rugs. And the 'game room' is the spot to play cards and board games. The large yard features perennial gardens, lilacs, a lawn big enough for badmitton games, a picnic table and gas grill. You and your family will have Fernside all to yourselves to enjoy.
