Many wineries offer tours and there are many special events ongoing throughout the year. Of course, wine country also offers an abundance of culinary delights, specialty shops and restaurants which feature a variety of cuisines. Day tripping will take you through some of the most beautiful and diverse scenery in California. The Pacific ocean is less than an hour drive along the Russian River which meanders through vineyards and redwoods, enjoy a picnic or kayak ride along the way. Rental cars, motor tours and limousine service are available.

Sports, Art and more!: Sports activities include; golfing, hiking, bicycling, hot air balloon rides and water sports. At nearby Lake Sonoma there is a marina for boating and water skiing. This area also offers a wide variety of cultural amenities including; museums, cinemas, performing arts, music venues and many art galleries.
