Had a wonderful time...

We really enjoyed staying here. We were looking for a place to rest and recover after several long weeks of constant running. The reason why I only gave this place 4 suitcases, for 10 people the lay out was not as great as we would have liked which made sleeping for the children diffilcult.
The house was fully stocked with dishes, cookware, silverware, glasses, games, blankets and pillows. The house was in good shape and comfortable to be in. One really nice thing was that the owner called us just to make sure everything was ok. She was so nice and eager to make our stay an awesome one. Very personal and caring.
We really liked that there were two familyrooms. With 4 kids it was important for us to have a place that they could go and play inside. Thankfully there was enough space for them to "get away" because it rained for 2 days and we were stuck inside. Nobody got bored and there were no fights. YEAH!!! We had several ping pong tournaments, played Wii, which we brought, played board games and watched a couple of movies. The owners definitely stocked the house well for their company. Thank you.
The ammenities for The Hideout were great. They have an Art Center which was very inexpensive, where the kids and adults could paint ceramics. All of the kids loved it so much that we went back 3 times. We played Bingo as a family, fished, explored the woods, swam, played in the arcade, fed deer, all from the comforts of The Hideout.
Also, the security guards at the guard shack were a huge help too and when help was needed in finding a pediatrician for my children they were right there searching for numbers.
Overall, this was a great experience and we would definitely go back. If we went just as a single family instead of three families, we would definitely stay here.
The area is beautiful an relaxing. You will not be disappointed.
