The place is very comfortable, on a quiet dead end street, and the patio is a plus that adds to the pleasure of living there. We also enjoyed the deck where we basked in the sun and ate delicious fresh lobsters cooked on the barbecue, as well as the garden where two small rabbits were saying hello every morning... a fairy tale indeed! There is a small beach close by, where we went every night with our two little Pomeranians who were very happy to run on the sand and a large park where they could also play around. The fancy beaches of Narragansett are only a few miles from the place and the beauty of the waves is worth the trip. The food is so delicious with fresh lobsters, fresh fish all around that I was rarely tempted by restaurants.... although we tried a couple of real good ones nearby. There are a lot of places to go sightseeing and I enjoyed the sound of the fog horn at night from the lighthouse. Everything is less expensive than in New York City, and I took advantage of this to go to antiques stores and bring back a lot of items. Come rain or shine, we were so happy there that my husband, my two dogs and I feel now frustrated to have left it behind. It was as if we were far from the world, far from stress, far from computerized life (though, to stay updated, I brought my laptop and the Internet connection in the house is very convenient). What else? Oh yes! One other thing that you don't find every day: the kindness of the owner (Bill) who wants his guests to feel comfortable, who replied right away to our requests and gave us his time to look for places that made our vacation perfect. Thank you so much Bill, and we sincerely hope to come back next year!
