We are Scottish,this is our place to chill when we come to Rockport. We have great decks straight on to the waterfront & a place to moor your boat., Our home on Bahia Bay is only a few minutes from Downtown Historic Rockport. We're by Estes Flats on a canal just a few yards from the intracoastal, waterways with some of the best fishing in Texas. There's lots to do here whether you fish or not, you can be as active or as chilled as you like there's something for everyone. A company in Rockport manage our house, so everything is taken care of locally. Its a beautiful chilled out place to be, imagine walking straight out to great decks,,wonderful views & to top it all a romantically lit canal . Even although I say it myself It is a beautiful house with lots of space for indoor and outdoor living - What can be more relaxing than watching the sun go down on the deck, fish jumping & a cold beer.   • hairdryer in the master bathroom. the bathrooms are lovely and very well laid out in particular the ensuite to bedroom one you will find amazing with a free standing bath a large shower cubicle. double sinks toilet of course and 2 dressing rooms plus lots of cupboard space to store clothes and accessories. This bathroom has hand made cabinets and tops. The other 2 bathrooms also have hand made cabinets and surfaces one with bath and shower facilities and the last one with double sinks and a large walk in shower.

  • Buttercup house sleeps 12 . There are 4 double bedrooms, 1 double leather sofa bed with a very comfortable sprung mattress in the sitting room and 2 fold away single beds available. The house is very spacious and easily holds 12 people with lots of room to relax and escape if you want a little time to yourself. However I like to limit the capacity to 12 people. If you have a very small child the bedrooms are easily spacious enough to accommodate cribs etc or small fold away bed which i have available. All bedrooms have bedside tables & lamps, wardrobe and drawer space and Ipod alarm clocks also flat screen TVs (with cable). The master bedroom has a DVD player and a 42inch flat screen tv! All bedding is of excellent quality with throws and cushions decorating the beds.

Continued: A favorite activity of the area is fishing, which can be done from the deck with an amazing range of fish to be caught. Sea trout straight from the canal to the BBQ, what could be better than that! If you have your boat with you use the boat lift or moor along side the dock, The famous Estes flats is just outside the canal entrance, pop out and wet a line. the beach is only a short ride away in Rockport, with lots of eating places close by. All bedrooms have TV (with cable) PlayStation in sitting room, bring your own games. Kayaks & bicycles, keep the kids happy then you are happy right? We have a great games room so the guys can have a game of pool. We've taken the time to collect lots of information on what you can do in Rockport & the surrounding area, Beware once you have been you will keep coming back over and over again. This is our second day at at the house. It is wonderful just like being at home. We have our family here for a reunion and we could not believe it when we arrived, it is better than we could have imagined. This is one of the best vacations we have ever taken. To be recommended-highly recommended.

Audrey, your house was a joy to stay in. I loved the sunny kitchen window, watching fishermen head for the coastal water ways. The beds were comfortable, master bathroom shower just great. Your decorations are marvellous to admire and enjoy. We are two 70 year olds from Michegan, down here to soak up the warm Texas weather. Our daughter and family live in Houston. Wed come back here again!

I would recommended this property to anyone it is a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Just sit on the deck and drink your morning coffee.
We had several adults staying on our vacation and the house is big enough that each person has their own space. It is very homely but luxurious at the same time.
The owner and the rental company are very easy to work with and very hospitable.
We hope to plan another vaction in the future hope to stay
at this property again.

We rented this house for a romantic/active short vacation. We had a great time in beautiful surroundings. So much to do but can do as much or as little as you want. Great floor plan for lots of people yet really private areas.Apparently there was initial teething problems with this rental and its management but our experience was the opposite. A lovely house, we didnt want to leave! Also very competitively priced for the specification of this house.

Absolutely great. Right on the water. Accomodation and amenities were perfect. Stayed with children and grandparents. Would not hesitate to stay here on our next vacation. Is also a great weekend getaway.
