SECLUDED- CHARMING CHALET GETAWAY IN PINE

If you ever want to to sleep "in", and then wake up around noon (thinking the clock is broke!), then you will love this cabin nestled in the pines. The peace and tranquility that we experienced here carried us for days afterward.
Our time was spent on the back deck with our morning coffee, afternoon hikes in the forest, and evenings we grilled out and played board games. Pure heaven!
The cabin is fully stocked with everything one needs, and more. There is even free WIFI.
My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

My husband and I have had a very difficult first year of marriage and as a result we needed to have a retreat away to help us enjoy the holiday.
Dick (the cabin owner) was really nice and helpful when I contacted him, not only did he let me pay him in payments, but I was able to pay for the cabin in full before heading up to it. He also contacted me to verify that we had paid in full, just so that we were on the same page.

When we arrived we found plenty of towels and toiletries available to us, lots of snow and a "little slice of Heaven". My husband really liked being able to build fires in the fireplace and he was in awe of the scenery. My two toddlers enjoyed the cabin as well and loved to watch the wildlife right outside the window. Unfortunately, we didn't spend much time upstairs as the railing was too far a part to be safe for our toddlers. We also ran into a small problem with the DVD player on the TV, it would't eject the DVD after about a day or so, and we found the floors to be in need of a good sweep. We didn't let those small things stop us however. We found a broom and sweeped up the cabin floors and we played games and visited Tonto Natural Bridge in exchange for the TV. We also just stayed downstairs and played with our girls and their new Christmas toys.

The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed for a nice and delicous Christmas dinner and we made sure it was sparkling clean before leaving. We also had nice cozy and comfortable beds to sleep in and plenty of blankets to keep us warm.

Thank you so much for letting us visit your cabin. We had a blast and a much needed wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful time at this secluded cabin in the woods. You could not ask for a more beautiful view and quiet location. We enjoyed the cabin, it was clean and comfortable and the deck with fireplace was a joy to relax on. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because we had a few issues with the cabin being not "stocked" as was stated in the ad. Bedroom 2 only has a full size bed not a king as stated. Also, there was not enough towels, toilet paper or dish soap so we had to go buy some. Really not a big deal but the owner might want to look into that for future rentals.
