Since it hosted the Winter Olympics in 1960, The resort at Squaw Valley, USA boasts some of the deepest snow in the world! Walk out the front steps of this condo and board one of the high-speed quad chairlifts, the Funitel gondola, or the 110 person cable car. This cable car is a spectacular ride 2,000 vertical feet to the High Camp Bath and Tennis club. The cable car is one of Squaw Valley's most popular year-round attractions and is open to all guests, skiers, snowboarders, and walkers. At this summit, you will find panoramic views, restaurants, ice-skating, swimming, and the Olympic Heritage Museum, commemorating the 1960 Winter Olympic games. High camp is the hub that connects the lower mountain and the upper mountain chairs and runs. After a long day on the slopes relax in one of the many hot tubs or stop in and enjoy apres' ski drinks and snacks at the many restaurants a few steps from the condos front door. Lake Tahoe is 5 minutes, the south shore casinos are 40 minutes.
