Cornfield Point seasonal beach cottage - 3-bedroom house on a double lot is only a 4 minute walk to the beach. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds and the 3rd bedroom has a set of twin beds. All bedrooms have air conditioners and TV's. The kitchen is fully equipped - stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. Washer and dryer also available in the house. Living room has cable television and DVD player. Porch includes 2 wicker chairs and settee. Outside there is a barbecue grill, picnic table, lawn chairs. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also available. Renter will bring their own linens and towels. Lots of nearby restaurants. Short drive to outlet shopping, Mystic Seaport/Aquarium and casinos. Fenwick golf course minutes away. Cornfield Point also has it's own tennis court, boat ramp and playground.

This house was charming, clean, extremely well maintained and very comfortable. It was exactly as described in the listing and well equipped with the things you hate to buy for one week (coffee fiters, laundry detergent, spices, etc.- even oil and vinegar!). There was an inviting outdoor shower and we had the use of beach chairs, a huge beach umbrella and a wagon to haul it all with. The owner was terrific at sending and responding to emails, He even changed the key code to get into the porch to our personal house number, which I thought was extremely thoughtful. The side lot was large and great for the grandkids to run around and work off some energy. I would highly recommend this rental to both family and friends. We spent a lot of time at the beach, did some outlet shopping and went to the aquarium in Mystic Seaport. Johonny Ad's was terrific for lunch (bring cash, they don't take credit cards) and the kids had really good pizza one night. I don't remember the name of the pizza place, but when we mentioned it to someone from Old Saybrook they told us it had really good fried clams as well. My only complaint is that we should have stayed longer!

We loved the cottage. It is so clean and beautifully decorated. The owners have provided many extras that make it very cozy and comfortable. The side yard and gas grill are great for having a BBQ with family and friends. The beach is a short walk away. The area is very quiet and friendly. The children and grandchildren loved the flat screen TV's in every room. It was great to have Wifi. All the conveniences of home. There are many attractions in the area. Our favorite is the narrated tour of the Thimble Islands. Exit 56 off I95 in Stony Brook. Mohegan Sun casino is only 1/2 hour away. Many good restaurants. We like Lenny & Joe's Fishtale in Westbrook. Waters Edge resort in Westbrook has an outside Sunset Grill with beautiful views of Long Island Sound. We will definitely rent this wonderful cottage again!!!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful beach house in September 2011. The house had everything you could possibly want. The cottage had plenty of room and each bedroom had AC and a flat screen TV. The beach was a short walk away. The house also had a nice grill area and plenty of room for parking even for guest to visit. The outdoor shower was really cool and a nice added feature. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and could not ask for anything more for a vacation spot. We look forward to returning there soon. Enjoy!!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in Old Saybrook. The rental was fantastic - clean, all the amenities we could need, and close to a great beach. The owners were very friendly, timely with information, and easy to work with. The association beach was quaint, never crowded, and kept very well. The town was also quaint, never crowded, and very welcoming. It was close to many points of interest and we found some great places to eat. We LOVED our whole experience! Thank you!

So clean and attention to details. Perfect for My husband and 2 girls,
The owners take care of their guests. Quick walk or bike ride to beach. Very safe and great side yard . We had a great week.
