YOUR COSY ROOF TOP TERRACE HOME IN THE HEART OF FLORENCE

Our family of 3 had a simply fabulous stay in Marina's apartment for 9 days in April. It is a fantastic apartment and convenient to all of the Florence sites! Nicely furnished, impeccably clean, well situated and equipped with every convenience you need. Hardwood floors, tile and wood ceilings, a great deal of character and very comfortable. The bathroom looks brand new and has a separate shower as well as a tub. It also has a washing machine which came in very handy, and you can dry your clothes on a rack or outside on lines off of the balcony. The roof terrace is incredible and so relaxing. Part of it is covered so you can get out of bright sun and have wonderful meals al fresco.
The apartment is just outside the really touristy area but next door to San Ambrogio market which is just the most wonderful place. We spent time nearly every day at the market buying the most sumptuous cheeses, vegetables, pastas, meats as well as scarves and other great stuff. The area has great pizza places, restaurants and bakeries as well as Bacco Nudo which is a Sfuzo wine store that will fill your bottles with fresh wine from the cask. The apartment is right next to a bus stop, buses are very easy to use and zip you right around to where you want to go if you want to venture a bit further afield.
Truly a great apartment in a fantastic location and so much better than a hotel! Marina is very helpful with suggestions and taxi's.

Once again, my stay at Marina's apartment exceeded my expectations! The apartment is clean, spacious, and in a fantastic location. The terrace is fabulous, but unfortunately it was too cold for us to use it very often. There are many good restaurants and bars nearby and it is within easy walking distance to all major sites. Marina is more than accommodating from the time of booking through the time of your departure. She helped us arrange for taxis and booked our reservation for the Uffizi. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Florence, and I am so happy to have found such a delightful place to call " home" when I visit Italy!

Trust the other reviews this apartment is a perfect gem. I was traveling with a family member and the apartment was an excellent alternative to sharing a hotel room, the layout gave us plenty of privacy and room to spread out. We stayed for 1 week.

Marina was the perfect host, she greeted us at the apartment on our arrival and even helped my mother carry her bags up the stairs. Even though we had arrived earlier then agreed, Marina had already set the apartment for us and a bottle of wine waiting.

She helped us arrange a wine tour and a cooking class, reservations at the Accademia, and a taxi for our departure.

The location is perfect, an easy walk to anything you want to see in Florence, and the C2/C3 bus route stops right in front so if you want to take a riding tour of the city or just give your feet a rest it is perfect.

All the major sites, Duomo, Academia, Uffizi, Santa Croce, Ponte Vechio, etc. are within short walking distance. The apartment is closest to Piazza Santa Croce.

There are many nice restaurants right in the neighborhood I highly recommend Tratoria da Que Ganzio on Via Ghiballina.

The apartment is nicely furnished with full bathroom, tub and shower, washing machine. A cooktop stove, refrigerator, utensils, etc. you need. We prepared several nice meals in the well stocked kitchen. She also had extra power adaptors on hand, maps, books, internet, etc.

The furnishings and decor are nicely coordinated and comfortable.
