As you drive into Tilghman Shores you are welcomed by neatly trimmed green grass(how do they do it with the drought) as well as, all sorts of colorful trees, shrubs and flowers throughout property. Waste disposal is easy access and always tidied in the enclosed area. We had just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery, mini golf & arcade, bike rentals, etc......We went to Broadway on the beach, Barefoot Landing, Water & go kart park(all within 15-25 minute drive. We visited family in surrounding towns of Little River, Calabash, North Mrytle Beach & Mrytle beach 10-12 minutes away. The pool & sauna on site helped me recover from my water park injuries(lazy river is more my speed.) We enjoyed eating at K & W cafeteria & The Shack for down home cookin of real food. We tried Tar Baby's for breakfast brunch and found that to be a little messy and unkept. If you're looking for a relaxing time in a beautiful setting Cherry Grove Beach is the place for you. If you're looking for a home away from home during your stay-the Salisbury's provide that with your rental of their condo. This is our second trip with an annual family reunion and many more to follow. I'm also considering sneaking away with my wonderful husband of 13 years during the off season as soon as someone steps up to take our 3 youngsters and 3 dogs while we go. Wishing you peace and happiness in your decision to stay. The King family Rockville, MD
