Ruilobuca farm house has been tastefully restored and heated by a modern central heating. The house is a Cantabrian Mountain style but fully modernised. The house has been divided in two units. South and North with communicating doors in all floors. Each unit house 6 people. Advantage of this, is that, the house offers accommodation for a large family or family with friends who wish to be together but at the same time independent. It can be rented by unit or as a whole house. An additional joint barn, 10 x 5 mts or games room, has been recently restaured and included in the price . Ideal room for specials events. The house is surrounded by hills and woods, there many lanes for peaceful walks without the need of a car. Tranquillity and peaceful countryside, but also offers the most extensive stretches of beach and sand in its coastal area of Oyambre Park, San Vicente de la Barquera and Santillana del Mar are only twenty mins by car from the house and COMILLAS just five mins by car.

Ruilobuca is part of Ruiloba distric. The village is a very quiet hamlet and part or rural Spain, is where one can still feel back to sempler days. Surrounded by the most historic and elegant cities of the Northern Coast, COMILLAS is about two miles from the house. July and August is a busy market town with nationals holiday makers. Little shops, antiques, bars, restaurants and magnificent buildings, and of course a lovely beach. SANTILLANA DEL MAR has its famous CAVES and buildings. Santander is about 30 minutes from the house. OYAMBRE PARK has a magnificent silver sand and green dunes spreading over kilometres of coast. LA RUTA DEL CARES in Asturias, is another energetic walk of 25 kms go and back in one go!! LOS PICOS DE EUROPA is about 40 minutes by car from the house and is famous for its walks and gastronomy. WALKS AND GASTRONOMY are the most popular activities in the area. Menus of three courses are available from 7 Euros every where !!.

Notes: There is a full size tennis table available for guests. Each unit has its own patio. One linen change per week will be provided and changed. (Daily maid services can be provided at local rates). Two Portable barbecues provided. The house has been divided in two units. North one and South one. They can be offered as one whole unit with communicating doors on the ground floor and first floor, offering accommodation for up to 12 people or be rented per unit only. The two units are suitable for a family with friends or older family who want to be together but keep their own Independence during the holidays. The house has two patios. South one is cover and fully furnished, and North one with views and entrance to the gardens and fields. Please see photo. The house has its own main entrance and parking places.

Transport to Cantabria from England - Direct flights from Stansted / Santander with Ryanair. Easy jet from Stansted to Bilbao. With go from Heathrow / Gatwick to Bilbao. Brittany ferries from Plymouth to Santander, twice a week departures. P & 0 ferries from Portsmouth to Bilbao, twice a week departures

Ski: Alto Campoo is about an hour from our house, and near REINOSA/NESTARES. Its altitude is about 1.650 mts. with 18 slopes, 4 green, 6 blues, 8 red. Services like creche, tuition courses for adult and children; rental equipment ; restaurants and cafes are available.

Golf: Campo de Golf Santa Marina, 18 holes, in San Vicente de la Barquera, ( twenty minutes from our house), was created in 2001 by Severiano Ballesteros. It is famous amongst nationals and foreign players. A coastal 9 holes golf course in Oyambre Park is only 15 minutes from the house. Please contact us for more information.

Other Activities: a full size tennis table and bikes are available in the house. Painting activities are most welcome and suitable, just to learn or pratice.
