About Jeff Graham
The 'J' at JK Farm is Jeff Graham. Jeff, a third generation farmer, has spent a lot of time in the city too, which is probably why he so treasures the privacy of JK Farm. When you visit, you'll get to just stop, unwind and appreciate the surroundings. Jeff jokes about guests who had been driving for hours; they arrived harried and worn out, only to be totally refreshed a half hour later - no doubt because of JK Farm's deep serenity.
About Karen Graham
The 'K' at JK Farm is Karen Graham. She's had the pleasure to work at a top international hotelier for twenty-five years. Karen expects that when you are traveling you're as discerning as she is. At JK Farm you'll experience gracious service, in a fresh, relaxing, and reasonably priced environment.
The Owner purchased this cottage in 2003
A farm is a place where man and nature work together to create. With all the wonderful lodging offerings in this great nation, few offer an eye into the wonder of the family farm. Nothing is easy about farming, but a stay at JK Farm is your chance to see the joy of this family's work.
Kids drop their techno toys and move to the things you'd never guess they'd enjoy so much. The saddest day: Checkout; the best day: The next visit.
We have now stayed at this lovely gem 3x. We have family in the immediate area and it works great to have our own place and great surroundings. Its about a 15 min drive to uniontown on country roads. The property is immaculate, and filled with all the supplies any gourmet cook would need in the large kitchen. The owners, Jeff and Karen are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
We arrived for the Martin Luther king long weekend with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren for some family time and football weekend. There is NOTHING that wasn't provided for our visit to this very charming home. The grand kids who are 4 and 1 found several boxes of toys to entertain them on a cold snowy weekend. Every cooking utensil you could possibly want was there...no trying to cook with one pot and skillet. The bedrooms had big comforters that were so nice to snuggle into. Jeff and Karen provided everything to make our visit just super. My only regret is we weren't there on a summer day to enjoy the pond, porches and outdoor living. I highly recommend this home.
I planned a weekend away with about 10 of my girlfriends and we could not have asked for a better house. It was immaculate upon arrival, and so very cute. Having everything there for us already (linens, towels, cooking supplies, etc.), it just made the weekend even that more enjoyable. Now we are trying to plan on this trip being a yearly event since it is so nice and really affordable!
What a great house. We have rented a few houses over the last couple of years years and this was the best. Jeff and Karen were great hosts. The house was spotless and like new throughout and loaded with all of the conveniences of home and more. They have every appliance you can think of. Drink your coffee on one of 5 porches and listen to the frogs, sheep and cows. This house is in the middle of nowhere yet within a short drive of Uniontown, Pa or Morgantown, WV. We did not want to leave. Trying to find a house to compete with this one on future trips will be tough.
We just spent Labor Day weekend at JK Farms! We were all in town for our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Since our childhood home can't hold all of us anymore, the Farm was the perfect place for us. The cottage is so beautiful, inside and out. Every room is gorgeous, we all felt so spoiled to be there. Even the little ones loved it, from the toys and chalkboard to fishing and watching the cows. Such a beautiful farm, we enjoyed God's handiwork everywhere we looked. It was a wonderful weekend honoring our parents! Thank you for allowing us to share your farm. We will definitely recommend your place to our family and friends. We plan to be back! God bless!
My family has rented several VRBO properties over the past couple of years - this was by far the nicest, so much so that I'm writing a review for the first time. The cottage is more than a place to stay, it is a real treat. Tastefully decorated and immaculate, Jeff and Karen have thought of everything. My elementary-aged children loved the pond and the fields, my husband and I loved the peace and quiet, and my elderly parents loved the fully-appointed kitchen and the books and magazines. Jeff and Karen checked in on us soon after arrival to be sure we had everything we needed; we did! This is really a luxury property which we will recommend to anyone seeking a calm respite.
