It is located in the heart of the new Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park, pets are welcome, and water toys are included. This property features a maturely treed natural setting, year round access, lots of parking, with a spectacular view situated on a sheltered bay facing the granite outcropping of the rugged Canadian Shield.

The Summer: In the summer do you enjoy the water as much as I do? Then hop into my paddle boat, canoe, or kayak and relax and cruise the nice quite bay, or grab my aluminum fishing boat with 9.9 HP motor and try your luck with some of the small-mouth or large-mouth bass. Enjoy water-skiing? Then launch my twin engine jet boat and ski or tube the lake. With twin 185 HP engines it has the power to pull any one up on skis. Prefer using your own boat? Then bring it and launch it free from our own boat launch and park it in your own slip.

The Winter: Do you enjoy the fall and winter season? ATV, hike or cycle and enjoy the color of the changing seasons. Use the cottage as a base, for some of the best hunting in the world, or take advantage of some of the best snow mobile trails in the country. Cross country ski the local trails, or on the still frozen lake, and then come inside and relax by the cozy warm fireplace and just enjoy the food, the company of friends and family, and the view.

The property is located in the national park called the Kawartha Heighlands. Situated along the southern edge of the Canadian Shield, this relatively undeveloped area features a rugged rolling landscape of small lakes, wetlands, forests and rocky barrens. Head north on Highway 28 look for the Lockside Trading Company for a very unique shopping experience or check out Burleigh Falls. As you get closer to Anstruther Lake you will see a cut off for Lakefield. Also in the area you will find; Petroglyphs, Warsaw Caves, Golf Clubs, Several Marinas, Art Gallaries, and the Blackfly Summer Theatre. Or just stay by the lake and swim, boat, fish, water ski, or hike!

Golf: The Marvel Rapids Golf Course has a winding creek, numerous bunkers, and flowing meadowlands making it a very scenic and inviting course to play. The Owenbrook Golf and Country Club is a nine hole course on small fast greens. It features hilly terrain and the occasional water trap and it is located just east of Apsley.

Can't get a more magnificent location. Condo is nicely landscaped, area outside of mini-village wonderfully wild and natural. Wonderful layout inside units. Great concept - townhome condo on the water. Little community of caring people within a fabulous Provincial Park. Furnishings are simple. Owner thoughtful and helpful.
