Free boat comes with your vacation. The Captains Quarters is spacious and beautiful, fully equipped waterfront condo. Island hop to nearby islands with sandy beaches and shade trees and water birds. Fish in crystal clear grass flats for spotted trout, red fish, snook and tarpon. Take the boat and go to deserted gulf beach islands for shelling,swimming and snorkeling. Take the boat over to Caladesi Island ranked #1 beach in the country for 2008.

Our family stayed here this summer, we did not want to leave. We are floridians,transferred to Illinois, and we have never experienced our home state like we did here! I wish they were available for Christmas. Janet and Alex were nice and comfortable but not intrusive. We will try to stay again next summer for two weeks., LOVED IT!

My son and I travelled from the UK in 2007 and stayed with Janet and Alex at the Captains Quarters. All facilities and amenities are exactly as they are described,clean and in excellent condition. Everything was provided in the condo - bed linen, dvd's, kitchen utesils etc and the bbq, washer/drier, fishing poles, kayaks etc were excellent. Captain Alex gave us a lesson in driving the boat and showed us the little islands and best spots for fishing - all very very beautiful. Janet and Alex were very friendly and helped us find our way around locally and were always available for help and advice on fishing and boating. Alex is the local boat rescue guy so it was great to know we were in safe hands.
We enjoyed our stay there so much that we have booked again and we are taking the whole family in May 2009, including my parents! We are visiting Orlando for a week before going over to Dunedin and my 12 yr old is looking forward to our stay in Dunedin more than Orlando!!!
We are thrilled to be going back to Florida and really looking forward to seeing our great hosts and their little dogs again.
