Get away from the stress of the city to this charming and classic hill country house set in the middle of over 10 acres. This one story rock house comes fully equipped for all your wishes for privacy and relaxation, yet there is plenty to do, both at the house and in the surrounding area. Antique shopping is a short drive to Boerne, Comfort, Fredericksburg along with great and interesting places to stop for lunch or dinner. San Antonio, with SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas is also a short drive away. The Hill Country is full of good-to-great wineries such as Sisterdale Winery and Becker Winery outside of Stonewall. There is always the nostalgic stop in Luckenbach (Willie Nelson's old hangout) and on Sundays, there is live entertainment along with your long neck.

What a great find in the Hill Country!: The house is just wonderful, for every age group. Less than 10 miles to Marquardt Ranch. Popular with girls (of all ages) for weekend get-aways, or families (grandparents, parents and several kids) or just a quiet weekend for a couple, this warm and cozy home welcomes all. The house has a master separate from two other guest bedrooms, and is all on one level. Your privacy is guaranteed, yet you are close to Boerne and other attractions in the Texas Hill Country. This is a great place to get away and enjoy friends and family. It was very comfortable, and had everything you need from patio with grill to front porch with a swing.

We enjoyed feeding the deer and they seemed to be very accustomed to being fed by the house guest.
Owner's Response: We loved meeting new friends from Tennessee. It looked like a happy family reunion for all.

"Our stay in your casita was absolutely fabulous! Your home is extremely comfortabale and inviting. Everything, from the beds to the numerous sitting areas, couldn't be better.

We had a lovely dinner party for 16 around the main table. We had movie night for 8 with room to spare, and we enjoyed all the different conversation areas, including the great front porch, and the swing.

The location to town and the charming shops and dining (Boerne) is great. It was an easy drive to the S.A. airport and other hill country sites. This is perfect for a group of gals, a relaxing family vacation or an intimate get-away. You're our favorite hostess by far!

Each year my two sisters, myself, and our husbands meet somewhere in the United States for a family golf tournament. We come from Texas and Florida. This year we picked this wonderful casita in Boerne, TX. What a find! The comfortable, charming home has everything you will need, and what a peaceful setting! It has a porch around three sides, plus a back deck. We sat out in the evening, watching the sunset and then seeing more stars in the sky than you can imagine! The owner was extremely helpful and nice. We will always remember this experience, and hope to get back someday. Thanks Lise!

Wonderful hill country retreat

This home was PERFECT. It had anything and everything you might even think about wanting or needing. The location was beautiful. Not far from town, but completely removed from anything urban. Lots of deer. Quiet, peaceful and truly relaxing. Boerne is a great Texas destination. Fun shopping and amazing restaurants all with great hill country flair. I went with five 'old' college friends. There was plenty of space. We hope to come back.

We certainly had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Casita. We enjoyed feeding the deer and relaxing in this home surrounded by the beauty of nature. As soon as we arrived, we experienced the spiritual graces that the Casita and surrounding landscape offer. May the Lord's blessing be upon all who visit here.
