The cottage is located in Paw Paw, Michigan; an area known for its wineries and lakes. There is plenty of fresh local produce during the summer and fall, and a number of great restaurants minutes away. Paw Paw is a 30 minute drive from Lake Michigan, and only 20 minutes from Kalamazoo and Western Michigan University. Lakes, art, music, and festivals are all very accessible from the cottage.

Great weekend getaway!

We enjoyed a fabulous, last minute trip to this great little cabin in Paw Paw! It was clean, peaceful and cozy...comfy bed, amazing yard and lake! The nearby restaurants were tasty, we especially enjoyed breakfast at Cafe 237. We came to explore the wineries and were pleasantly surprised by what we found at each one...coming back to sip some wine at this cozy cabin ended our evenings perfectly! We very much look forward to coming back...I have no idea how we went so long living in Chicago and without knowing this amazing little getaway was just around The Lake! Thanks for a fantastic trip!

A week in Paw Paw

The cottage was as described - very clean and quite comfortable.  Having air conditioning and a laundry room was a definite bonus.  Also, being able to walk down to the water and to the boat was beneficial.  Fishing from the dock was some of the best fishing on the lake.  During the week, the lake is peaceful and relaxing.  On the weekends, the lake seems to come alive.  There are seveal fun restaurants in town, and the winery was a nice change of pace.  The casino at New Buffalo was also an added enjoyment.  Overall, a very good experience.  The owners are helpful and delightful young poeple.
