We opened the doors to our little home 8 years ago and have had the pleasure of meeting and welcoming guests from all over the world ever since. We look forward to welcoming YOU to your little home in Paris!
We have stayed in this apartment two years running, tried to book for
2010 but our weeks were already booked. Fabulous place to stay, lovely helpful people. Location was great, apartment spotless, Many Bars and restuarants within a few yards
We just returned from our third stay in this lovely, cozy, quiet apartment. Sandy and Philippe, the best hosts ever, have thought of everything...from umbrellas to shopping basket and first aid kit. As per our previous visits, there were some fresh flowers, a bottle of fine wine, pastries, cereals, tea, coffee, bath products (and more) to welcome us.
The apartment is in a great location. Nearby is Place de la Contrescarpe lined with several typical French cafés, and rue Mouffetard and Monge with many restaurants, grocery stores, boulangeries and cheese shops. It is an easy walk to the Panthéon and the Seine. Place Saint-Michel, near the Sorbonne, is a favorite of ours to sip some wine and watch the world go by.
Our week in the little home went too fast. Without hesitation, we recommend this apartment highly.
This apartment was the perfect place for my husband and I to spent our ( too) few nights in Paris. Sandy and Phillipe are our new best friends! They (and dog Mulane) greeted us with open arms to show us our abode. It was perfect! Everything you need while away. It is a cozy studio, with tiny well appointed kitchen and a truly lovely bathroom! All the basic food items are there - they left us wine! And there is a hair dryer, bath products, phone chargers, and a phone to call the states. Tour books, maps ..etc.
they are in a fabulous location on the left bank near the Pantheon and Sorbonne, with cafés and shops steps away. There are metro stops close by as well- though Notre Dame and the seine are walkable.
Our only regret is that we had only 3 nights to enjoy all that Paris has and didn't spend enough time in the apartment, other than a few leisurely breakfasts and good sound sleep (it is a quiet apartment!). We felt so French living there!
Again, Sandy and Phillipe were wonderful and a font of knowledge. Their English is also perfect, unlike our French.
I would recommend their place to everyone! For the price it can't be beat!
It had been 15 years since I was in Paris. I can't wait to go back much sooner!!
MERCI!!!!!
My fiancée and I have just returned from a week in Paris, staying at My Little Home in Paris. In short, I cannot recommend this property enough. Sandy and Philippe, the owners, were wonderful and the accommodation itself was absolutely charming. The photos are an absolutely accurate reflection of just how cosy and well-appointed it is. We were pleasantly surprised to see just how many things Sandy and Philippe had made available for their guests; we arrived to find that the apartment had free wi-fi, a facility to make phone calls to overseas landlines free of charge (very handy due to me being British and my fiancée being Australian)...even two lovely cakes for our first breakfast, and an excellent bottle of wine, too! I couldn't begin to list all of the other amenities, other than to say that they really do provide everything that you might need during your stay - and I mean EVERYTHING!
If all that were not enough, the area in which the apartment is situated is also fantastic, being very near to a number of excellent quality restaurants, bars and coffee shops. There are also a couple of supermarkets nearby if you wish to purchase food to make your own meals - and all within very easy walking distance. There is also a metro station nearby, too, to assist with your travels around Paris.
Sandy and Philippe also invited us for coffee during our stay, and we got the chance to get to know them (and their wonderful dog!) a little better. They truly are great hosts and wonderful people.
My Little Home in Paris will absolutely be at the top of our list for accommodation when we return to Paris; I can see that the bookings for this year (2015) are already filling up fast, which is no surprise given the quality on offer. I would urge anyone considering a trip to Paris not to hesitate and book as soon as possible!
I've now stayed twice in Sandy and Philippe's lovely little flat in Paris. Love it so much another 2 stays already booked.
It really is just as you see it in the photos, cosy, compact and full of character. It's amazing well equipped and spotlessly clean. I can definitely recommend it. You can probably tell I love this place, so best book quickly before I nab all the available dates. The calendar fills up fast.
Sandy and Philippe are so so lovely. You won't find better landlords anywhere. Kind, considerate and genuinely lovely people. We've spent a bit of time out and about with them and loved every minute of it. Ask Sandy about the Blues club that is on on a Sunday night locally, a brilliant night out! They have lots of great recommendations on places to go to. Always great to try new places and every where we've tried has been brilliant.
