DILLYCRAB RANCH BEACHFRONT GUEST HOUSE WITH SOFT RAINWATER POOL & GAME ROOM

The Dilly Crab Ranch was the perfect place for our first ever island Christmas. My husband and I were finally able to pull off an island holiday with our two boys and a girlfriend (ages 24, 25, 27). We all had a blast. The house is perfectly centrally located... five minutes from the airport which came in handy b/c one son came in the day after us so picking him up was a cinch. 3-mile beach is a simple 1 minute walk away and it is absolutely stunning with the most gorgeous turquoise water I've ever seen and we've been all over the place! I didn't think the house or Judy and Bill could be any more charming but then we met Lady and Muffin...their two dogs. What an added bonus for any animal lover.

We were arriving on Boxing Day which meant that most everything would be closed so Judy made arrangements to make a trip to the store to have drinks and snacks at the house when we arrived. She is incredibly accommodating and has thought of everything for an incredible stay at the "crab". She even made a trip to the liquor store! We spent many nights playing pool, wii and ping pong with our boys. One son is a personal trainer so he was excited to see all of the workout gear she had.

As adorable as the house is, we did manage to leave it and take a few excursions. Mom's Bakery and lunch at Santannas on Little Exuma are definite must do's. If momma is taking bread out of the oven buy it right then b/c it will not be there after lunch! Take a water taxi over to Stocking Island for lunch at the Chat and Chill. We also planned swimming with the pigs with Exuma Water Sports...awesome!

All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "crab" and would very much like to return. Judy and Bill seem like family to us (sorry Judy you're stuck with us!) even after only one stay. Super sweet, charming folks.

Dillycrab Ranch is as perfect as the pictures appear. 4 of us spent a wonderful week relaxing and enjoying Great Exuma. From fluffy bath towels, to plenty of beach towels, anything you could want was provided. Didn't think we would use the game room on the lower level, but it turned out to be a lot of fun in the evening.

Bill and Judy are great hosts and had answers to any questions we asked. We also enjoyed their 2 dogs, Lady and Muffin, who joined us for walks on the beach and would appear for a morning snack. Speaking of walks on the beach, every morning we walked, there was only one other person on the whole 3 miles. Pretty amazing having all that beach with so few people.

We enjoyed the location of the house. It wasn't too far to town and it was very close to the airport. Loved being able to relax on the deck the morning we left, knowing we only had a 5 minute drive to the airport.

If we find our way back to Exuma, Dillycrab will be the first thing we book!

Sorry for the delayed review, but it seems like the last time we relaxed was August in Exuma. I can't say enough great things about Dillycrab Ranch and Exuma. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4, and Judy and Bill were great making sure everything was just so for us. We have traveled to several spots in the Caribbean, but this certainly ranks at the very top. The beach seems endless in both directions, the water is warm and clear, and the pool and downstairs game room is great for kids. The islanders are welcoming, and there is more than enough to do in a week. Take the boat ride up the chain if you can, it is a once in a lifetime experience, and spend some time at Tropic of Cancer Beach...amazing.

Thanks again to Judy and Bill. Hopefully we'll visit again one day!
