Great House for our Family's Gathering

Our family of 26 stayed at Eagle 8 during Memorial Weekend of 2009 for our parents/grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. This house was perfect for us as we had looked at many different accomodations and we all preferred to stay under one roof. There were 8 couples that occupied the 8 bedrooms and the rest (singles, teens and children) slept on air mattresses. The house is very spacious and this worked very well. The kitchen, dining room and bar area worked terrific for food preparation and for serving our large crowd. We had lots of activities planned such as game playing, puzzles, karakoke, a family dvd viewing, and a family talent/variety show and again, the space worked great. We really enjoyed having amenities like a hot tub and pool table right in the house. There were multiple golf outings taking advantage of the close courses. And we finished off the weekend with a family scavenger hunt where we were divided into teams, hopped into our cars with lists of things to find and a time limit to find them. We only wish we had more time to take full advantage of what the house and the area have to offer.
Tania was a great help throughout the process of learning about the house and the area, while reserving the house, and during our stay and beyond. We had a couple of small issues during our stay which were immediately addressed and fixed by Tania and Denise.
