LUXURY VILLA WITH OWN POOL/SPA AND GAMES ROOM. 5 MINS TO DISNEY

We stayed at Casa La Jolla during February vacation. We had six adults and two children, ages six and seven. The house was perfect for us. When we arrived at check-in, the house was immaculate. We were very comfortable and the boys enjoyed many afternoons in the pool, and in the game room, playing air hockey. The house is conveniently located about five minuted from Disney and only a few minuted from grocery stores and shopping. We also loved that the house was directly across from a playground and park, which our boys played soccer at and jumped on the jungle gym. When we plan our next Disney vacation, we will definitely look to book this house again.

You can rent this home with total confidence!! E-mail communication with the owners was timely and excellent. Every question that we had, prior to booking, was answered in detail to our complete satisfaction. The home was very clean, well maintained, and everything completely matched the pictures and the description on the VRBO website. There were absolutely NO surprises!

The owners sent a detailed welcome letter that included everything we needed to know prior to arriving including: phone numbers for the owners and the local property manager, driving directions to the home, home key access, etc. Inside the home, you’ll find a welcome binder full of every piece of information that you could possibly need, including: info on garbage/recycle pickup, operation of the TV/cable/DVD/X-box, operation of the air conditioning system, lists of local stores/restaurants, etc.

The home is truly in an ideal location. It’s literally a 5 minute drive to grocery stores, Target, Walgreens, gas stations, and numerous restaurants. The Disney Parks are only a 10 minute drive.

The heated pool and spa were wonderful! The pool area gets sun for most of the morning and the afternoon. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing day if you don’t feel like venturing to the parks. It’s also the perfect place to wind down after a busy day.

If you’ve never rented a vacation home before, don’t hesitate to rent this one. You get so much more for your money, relative to a crowded/noisy hotel. Consider the fact that you get private bedrooms and baths, large living area, fully equipped kitchen, game room, and a private pool/spa.
We’ve rented vacation homes through VRBO several times now, and have never had a significant problem. But this was by far our best experience to date.

I wanted to take my team on a fun, exciting retreat. I thought, "Disney!" Of course, I then checked out the cost of Disney properties and thought, "Bankruptcy!" So I looked at options, such as hotels right off the property, etc. Then a friend suggested I find a house to rent. The thought made me a little nervous. Hotels have linens and amenities that you want on a vacation, but a house???

Nonetheless, I went to VRBO and started searching. It took a couple weeks to take the leap. I mean, the pictures looked nice and it sounded great... so, I booked the house and crossed my fingers.

A few things calmed my nerves. Such as how the communication from the owners came immediately. I liked how they accepted PayPal and that they followed up on a regular basis. I especially liked their Welcome Letter with very specific details and information about the property. But, I've seen some comedy movies about these kinds of things...

And then we loaded up our cars and drove down from Tallahassee - nine women in desperate need of a really, really good vacation. We arrived at the property and entered the house. It was AMAZING! It was enormous - the living space was open and spread out so nicely that you'd never know there were nine of us in the home. The FIVE bedrooms were spacious and with FOUR bathrooms - no one ever wanted for a shower or bathroom. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful. The game room had a nice pool table, awesome air hockey table, and professional looking foosball table. Every room had working televisions and nice furnishings. The living room was giant and had three sofas. The eating areas were large and had enough seating for all of us and then some. The kitchen was huge - and it even had wine glasses! All of the amenities were there - from fresh, clean linens to dishes and dishwashing detergent! Every bathroom had like-new, mounted blow dryers - the master suites had two! We were able to do a couple loads of laundry in the nice, clean washer and dryer.

The property was an easy drive to the gates of Disney. We'd leave the parks and be walking in the house in 15 minutes. Plus, there are tons of restuarants and supermarkets within 5 minutes of the house!

In the end, we could not have asked for better accommodations for the money. We housed 9 adults (with room for at least one more) without ever feeling crowded or cramped in what amounted to our own personal luxury hotel. I will definitely be calling Casa La Jolla again!
