New On Market - Kick back in comfort - all recliners and a jetted master tub. Spectacular woodland views from every window and screened porch. This beautiful new cabin is close to town, a golf course, and the John C. Campbell Folk school. A beautiful setting for entertaining. The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and great room with a stone wood fireplace. The split bedroom plan provides a large master suite, with a queen-size bed and full bath. The guest bedroom at the other end of the cabin has a queen bed and full bath. There is an additional queen size inflatable bed. Screened porch with outdoor dining set.

The Perfect Vacation

Treetops Cabin was even more than advertised and expected. Pictures and words by the owners Nancy and Robin caught my immediate attention back in late May after weeks of searching for just the right cabin for our special month celebrating 45 years of friendship. The modern, fully equipped kitchen was great for our special times together of cooking and eating delicious meals. The living room recliner and recliner couch and loveseat provided comfortable spots for sitting in front of the fireplace and enjoying daily afternoon fires. Sliding glass doors on both sides of the fireplace and skylights above gave us the feeling of being in the woods and bringing the outdoors inside. Perfect after taking day trips to small mountain towns in nearby Tennessee and Georgia, as well as Murphy and others in North Carolina. We enjoyed the mountain scenery as Fall changed the green to beautiful reds, golds, and yellows. Discovering little shops and local restaurants was an added pleasure.
Our hosts cared for our comfort and were prompt, efficient, and friendly in all our interactions from first contact to last farewell at the end of our wonderful month. We highly recommend this cabin and would love to stay there again.

A Great Experience

Wow! A big 5 stars! Mountain cabin doesn't come close to describing this beautiful home. Equipped with everything necessary for a memorable stay, when asked by owners Nancy and Robin for suggestions to enhance our experience, we couldn't. Everything was already perfect. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is quality equipped from the appliances or pots and pans to the place settings. Interested in BBQing? Not a problem as the screened back porch works perfectly for cooking and then eating outdoors. With (5) recliners in the living room, as well as a fireplace, even guests can stretch out to relax. I'm not sure if it was the clean mountain air, or the fact that the beds were so comfortable, but my husband and I slept like babies...all 31 nights. Each night was peaceful, quiet and black...except for the thousands of stars. A hooting owl was the only thing that occasionally would break that silence. Although there are neighbors, you'd never know it. Downtown Murphy is about 10 miles away. With it's sidewalk cafes, ice cream parlor, decent restaurants, numerous "antique" shops, historical museum and the friendly townsfolk, it has everything a small town should. If Western North Carolina is a place you'd like to explore, this "mountain cabin" is where you should begin your adventure. You won't regret it! We loved every minute of our stay.

Sit back, relax and enjoy.....

This is the perfect venue to sit back, relax and enjoy all the beauty of the woods....plus all the modern amenities at the same time!

Use the Internet if you must in the front of the house, but the rear screened in back porch and deck are where you can really relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Western North Carolina. Take a walk, take a drive, take your time. The deer, rabbit and squirrels are all around. This is a beautiful, comfortable property and the local owners will do whatever it takes to make your stay special.

We were here for an extended period of time and did not want to leave the peace and comfort of this wooded retreat. Come and enjoy two-bedrooms, two-baths, a Jacuzzi in the master bath, free long distance calling, free Internet, free satellite television, a fireplace, friendly neighbors (if you see anyone at all), and all the furnishings. Every detail has been covered to make your vacation in Murphy one you will never forget!
