Nestled in the mountains overlooking Santa Barbara. In a canyon with amazing views of valleys, Santa Barbara, the ocean and the Channel Islands. We have hiking trails going down to a creek that runs year round. Hike to a waterfall with a 9 ft deep swimming hole. Escape the city and relax in a yurt on a ranch owned and operated by good people.

We are located on a 90 acre ranch in the lower mountains above Santa Barbara near the hwy 154. It is beautiful country side with hiking trails, creek with waterfall, gorgeous views and wildlife to explore. Owners live on ranch and are available to assist when needed. We offer a safari truck ride down to the creek and back up, its really fun! We are closer to the wine tasting area than Santa Barbara. Its about a 30-40 min drive to the wine. We are up in the mountains, yet only 15 min to town, so you get the best of both worlds.

  • We have a unique bathroom experience! The bathroom is separate from the yurt. There is a toilet room with sink near the yurt, and a separate bath house with claw foot tub/ shower. The bath house is very unique in that it used to be an old rock house. It has no door and no shower curtain! Its a bit on the wild side, and feels like showering outside. The area is completely private and no one is around, so its your chance to be free and shower differently!
