This was our first trip to Maui, to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The Treehouse cottage was the perfect place for us, and we can't say enough how much we enjoyed everything about it. Every morning we watched the sunrise over Haleakala with our coffee, and most nights we grilled all kinds of Hawaiian fish for dinner on the lanai while watching the sunset. Everything we needed was supplied - from a fully equipped kitchen with fresh herbs from the garden, to beach chairs and cooler with ice. It was the perfect base to explore all the sights. We enjoyed the many beaches nearby, as well as driving up Haleakala, to the Maui Arts and Culture center for concerts, and an easy stroll down to Boss Frogs for scuba gear and excursions. We also enjoyed the privacy and being in a nice neighborhood, rather than in the thick of resort condos. We spent hours on the internet searching for the best place, and we hope by posting this review it will help others save a lot of time - if you are lucky enough to find it available, you will count yourself lucky to stay here! Mahalo to Pam and Juan for offering in a place so well thought out, well built, and beautifully furnished.
