Description of the Sugarloaf Key vacation house rental
This awesome Sugarloaf Key home is for those looking to enjoy quiet, nature, your own heated pool & canal frontage for your boat. The home is beautifully decorated & fully equipped. From the screened porch your view includes the back yard, pool, canal and a vast southern exposure of unspoiled Keys natural habitat.
Upstairs there is a modern & fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and breakfast bar. A large open living room with dining area overlooks the screened porch & views. Amenities include heated pool, 2 TVs with VCR & DVD, stereo with CD, a phone/fax machine, central A/C, washer/dryer & barbecue grill. Downstairs there is a covered patio, covered parking, & secure tenant storage area. From the dock you have access to the ocean and Gulf through some spectacular creeks & bays using owner's kayaks.
There are restaurants, shops, convenience stores, fuel and bait/tackle/charters within a short drive. Key West is 15 minutes (12 miles) south for fine dining, & shopping.

Being in the Florida Keys is all about relaxing. The best way to do that is on the water. Bring a boat, rent a boat, or charter a boat and get in the water. You are basically 100 miles out to sea. This is the only Caribbean island chain you can actually drive to. Try snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing, or simply floating in the pool on a raft and relax. Ride bikes, paddle the kayaks, or walk down to the old Overseas Highway.
There are shops, convenience stores, fuel, charters, and bait/tackle/kayak rentals within a short drive. Close by, two great restaurants are the Square Grouper and Mangrove Mama's.
Key West is 15 minutes (12 miles) south for world class dining, shopping and unique history. Check out the Mel Fisher Museum full of sunken treasure or the Live Butterfly Exhibit while in Key West.
Miami is about a three hour drive. It's cheaper to fly in to Miami, and stopping at the Islamorada Fish Company for a blackened fish sandwich hits the spot!
