Charming casita located on the High Lonesome Ranch property, 20 minutes from Tombstone, Arizona. Just completed in 2007, the casita is fully furnished with linens, kitchen and pantry items, DVD's and books. This Santa Fe style home is a great place to return to after a day of sightseeing or vacationing in Cochise County. Come back to relax on one of the two porches in the quiet, high desert surroundings, watch the birds and local wildlife, have dinner outside if you choose, or view the amazing night skies that are filled with stars too numerous to count! The views, both during the day and night, are outstanding! The casita provides comfortable accommodations for 2-4 guests in a fully stocked home with complete kitchen, laundry, and private acreage to enjoy and hike or horseback ride on. Four corrals are there if you have horses you would like to bring along. Feel free to use all of the maintained roads on the ranch, too!

The numerous attractions include: Tombstone (The Town Too Tough To Die), Cochise Stronghold, Chiricahua Mountains National Park, Ramsey Canyon, Fort Huachuca (home of the Buffalo Soldiers), Coronado National Memorial, historic Bisbee, and Karchner Caverns (make your reservation weeks in advance to see the Caverns!) and Rattlesnake Crafts (there is not another 'store' anywhere like this. Just 10 minutes, or less, from the casita.) Plan now for your vacation outside of Tombstone, the most famous town of the Old West!

We were fortunate enough to spend four nights at the casita the last week of April...the casita is spotless, and the peace & quiet was something to treasure...the sky at night is like a planetarium...
Also, the location is great, just about 15 miles east of Tombstone,
it's very easy to find...Tombstone is surprisingly quite interesting
as well, we also made day trips to Bisbee, Sierra Vista, Ramsay Canyon, & the Chiricaqua mountains, all easy drives, we were back
at the casita by 4 or so...that's the ONLY bad thing about the casita.
you won't want to leave!!!!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!

Awesome Time In Arizona Loved the Casita very cozy

5 Stars of views,views,views! With the dark skies, we could see Douglas city lights, and billions of stars in the sky. Best sunrises off the front porch! Talking with Coyotes in the evening! Very close to ghost towns,Chiricahua National Forest,Cochise Strong Hold, Tombstone(best steaks-Longhorn Rest), birding,hiking,biking, just about anything you want to do is here! Can't wait until the next trip out!

Perfect place for relaxing and contemplation

This place is very clean , well-maintained,very private and less than 1 mile from pavement(Elfrida A.Z.) It is an excellent place to explore the surrounding countryside from and to relax and to hear the silence. I would recommend this property to a friend or anybody else.
