We Survived Ike! Welcome to Mom’s Beach Retreat located in the luxurious 1000 acre Pointe West Resort on the western tip of Galveston Island. This beautiful new upscale resort provides the best of both Beach and Resort worlds to make it easy for a busy family to relax and have fun. This 3 bedroom / 3 bath condo is brand new with high-end upgrades. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, crown molding and two decks – one to watch the beach and one to watch the bay and sunsets. 3 Full bathrooms means less waiting for everyone to get cleaned up after a fun day at the pool and beach. We are right next to the sought-after Pointe West Beach Club and walkway to the beach – no long walks to access the amenities. The Beach Club has an Infinity pool with poolside service, Hot tub, Kiddie pool with splash pad, Fitness center, a Game room for the kids and an on-site Restaurant. If you are tired of cooking simply order from the restaurant. Just what Mom needs to help her relax

WOW! What an amazing condo, pictures don't capture the true beauty! This was the perect place for our vacation. Two families with four small children between us, the layout it great and three bathrooms was an added bonus. The pool...awesome, service great, they even offer family activities, beach chairs, beach toys and towels!! We felt like we were at any resort in Mexico. We look forward to many more vacations at Pointe West and Mom's Beach Retreat. We are so thankful you surivied IKE!!

Fabulous Condo!

We had a great time with our group from 2 to 70. There was plenty of room and the place was even better than the pictures showed. We were pleasantly surprised to see the wifi, many tvs, dvd players, etc. The resort itself is still being built and rebuilt from the hurricane so all of the ammenities are just not there yet. Not having an elevator was a challenge especially for the older people. I highly recommend the condo.

Fantastic Family Vacation July 2008

This was definetely a great vacation for us. The condo was wonderful! It had everything we needed, including kitchen equipment and 2 t.v.'s (One for the adults and one for the kids). One of the bedrooms had bunk beds, so that worked out perfect for the kids and the master bedroom was great with the huge bathroom and large jacuzzi style tub. The condo was very clean and well maintained. One of the balconys is big enough to sit and relax and watch the waves while the kids sort out their shells. We were skeptical at first because usually the pics you see look much better than the actual place. This was just the opposite, definetely more beatiful than the pics. We had a problem with one of the beds when we first arrived and after contacting maintance it was soon taken care of. Also, the owner was very helpful in answering all of our questions.Having access to the pool and game room was wonderful with the kids. I would definetely recommend this vacation spot for anyone. We are happy to hear that you survived Ike.

Great Vacation Rental Property!!!

The pictures for this property don't do it justice. The condo was very clean and fully equipped. My sisters, dad and I get together once a year for a family vacation. The condo was perfect for us with our kids. It was nice having the kitchen and washer and drier. The view was worth a million and was fun getting up and having my coffee on the balcony each morning. Also, the added advantage of having three bathrooms was great. The Beach Club right next to the property was perfect and the pool was beautiful (you get free passes with the condo) and they even had a bond fire one night. We had great service and they even provide the chairs for the beach. It was worth the money. I would recommend this property to family and friends.
