Spacious family home with bike trail just a few steps away. Short drive to National Seashore and Bay beaches, Audubon Center, driving range, miniature golf, Wellfleet Drive-in and Flea Market and great local restaurants. house is located at 133 Oakwood Road. you must supply your own linens check in is at 3:00 pm Sunday and check out at 9:00 am Sunday

The house is located close to the border of Eastham and Wellfleet. It is within 5 minutes drive to Eastham town center, Cape Cod National Seashore, and 10 minutes drive to all the beaches on the bay side in Eastham .

The house is in great condition with spacious 3 bedrooms which are fully equipped with Queen Size beds, dressers, night stands and etc. Both the laundry room and the master bedroom are located on the 1st floor which worked best for my in-laws who are in their 70s. The kitchen and dinning room are clean and spacious. On the backyard deck, there is a Weber gas Barbecue grill. And the outdoor shower with hot water is nice to have after our trip to the beach.

The owner lives locally in Eastham, he is very friendly and offered a lot of tip on local attractions.

You need to bring your own liquid soap, toilet paper and paper towel. We got ours from the Stop and Shop close by. There is no internet connection inside the house. We did our on-line search at the town library.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property and we will recommend it to our friends.

( We found a nice restaurant named Winslow Tavern in Wellfleet which is not far from this house. )

Large, comfortable house

The location was great - it was just over the Eastham line from Welfleet and far enough from Route 6 to be very quiet. The bike path was directly across the street. The house was large, very clean and brand new, with three enormous well-furnished bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. There was also a nice deck in the back for cooking out and a decent outdoor shower. The drawbacks were that the yard was barren, with no grass or landscaping, as if the house had been built and abandoned. It also lacked charm, very few decorations. The kitchen was spacious, but could have been better equipped (e.g. too little silverware, no dust pan, etc.) The owner was very helpful, and sells lobsters to guests on request.
