From the last week of August to the 1st week of April, you can step outside your door and have a chance to see the northern lights from our property. All year you have unbroken views of the confluence of the Chena and Tanana Rivers, plus the Alaskan Range.
Our 2 bedroom-2 bathroom suite is a vacation apartment which is over 830 square feet. It is exquisitely quiet and peaceful with views throughout. In addition to two bedrooms, you have a Queen pull out sofa. Each of the 2 bedrooms has its own private adjoining bath. No walls of either bedroom or bath are shared walls. Each bedroom has its own double key system, should you wish to lock the rooms independently.
You will have a light filled full kitchen, living room, and dining room. Every window in this gathering are has a breath taking view. You also have a private washer and dryer. The queen sleeper sofa is in the living room. You have the option of using individual cots which work well for children. You enter through a private 1st floor entrance.
Amenities for Each Bedroom: Satellite TV and DVD, Tower Fan and Air Purifier, Wi-Fi, Lap Blanket, A Small Library of Alaskan Books, Board Games, Extra Pillows and Blankets, Emergency Equipment Set, Shoe Shine Stool, Luggage Rack, 2-Flash Lights (Winter), 2 Road Towels for Hot Springs with Shower Set, Iron and Ironing Board, CD-Alarm, Black Out Shades or Drapes and Privacy Sheers. An adjustable ergonomic desk chair and computer desk is in each bedroom. The desk is appointed with scissors, pens, paper, nail file, and Mini-massager.
Amenities for Each Bathroom: Laundry Basket, 5 Set Toiletries, Unlimited Bath Gel, 4 Bath Towels, 6 Wash Clothes, Scales, Hair Dryer, Lighted Vanity Mirror. All toilets are handicap height.
Suite Amenities: Private Washer-Dryer, In-suite Thermostat, Kitchen Bake-ware and Serve-ware for up to 8 people, Two Coffee Pots, Microwave, Full Frig, Stove and Oven, Radiant Heated Floors, Private Entrance, 2 Cots with Bedding.
Bedroom One has King Select Number bed. The adjoining bathroom is a standard tub and shower.
Bedroom Two has Queen Select Number Bed and is our handicap access bedroom with an adjoining oversized handicap bathroom with double shower. The bathroom is fitted with hand rails throughout. This bedroom comes with a portable walker and a back-supported shower chair.
The vbro rate is our Self-Catering Discount Rate. This is our best rate. It provides a great economy price for a luxury apartment with a reduction in daily housekeeping services. Also, Breakfast is not included in this price. Housekeeping empties trash cans daily for you. If you prefer, you can choose the option of having breakfast included and also full daily housekeeping for a higher rate. Please call us if you prefer this option.
Children Set Up: For families with young children, we can provide a crib, a diaper pail, a child’s cot, and also a toddlers table and chair for easy meal times. We also provide child safe dishes and cups. The suite has child proof electrical plugs and the under counter sink cabinet is child proof.
Free Wi-Fi: Guest Computer Available on 2nd floor.
The apartment works best for 4 to 6 with a total of 3 beds. However, we do have two additional cots for children which can increase the total count to 8. Please call for details.
