This private Island is located only 25 Km from Key West just off Summerland Keys. Melody Key is completely self sufficient with primary electricity provided by solar panels, an extensive bank of newly upgraded, high-powered batteries, and a back up generator. Water is supplied by a 22,000 gallon cistern and desalination machine. Telephone communication is provided by cellular phone. The island also includes a Hi-Def satellite television with Tivo.
