The Mount Morris House, built in 1888 at the height of New York's Gilded Age, is a fine example of that period's famous architecture. Situated on Mount Morris Park, one of New York's landmark neighborhoods included in the National Register of Historic Places, the MMP House has been meticulously restored with great respect for its original details and attention to all modern amenities. Its bedroom suite has private bath and separate dressing room as well as a working wood-burning fireplace, cable television, DVD player, radio and alarm clock and WiFi. There is in-house laundry service and maid service and breakfast is served daily. Quiet and sunny, with great vistas of Mount Morris Park and a proprietor who is always ready to share his 30-year knowledge of New York life, it offers its guests an unforgettable experience of luxurious accommodation and personal care.

Fabulous B&B!!!

We were amazed with our stay at this B&B! Location was great - 2 subway lines within a couple of blocks and the bus stops right out front of the B&B. Clean, well maintained. Vasilis and Demitri were fabulous hosts. Breakfast everyday was delicious and beyond expectations. We left for the day with full stomachs and plenty of advice on where to go and what to see. Would recommend this B&B to anyone. We will definitely be return visitors when we are back in NY.

Just returned back to California from a five day stay with Basile and Demitri at their beautiful B & B! I cannot say enough good things about this lovely place. I took my 16 year old niece and her friend for a shopping trip to the Big Apple and they were both thrilled with the accommodations. We had plenty of room for the three of us, the room was warm and very comfortable. Our room had various antique pieces to accent the warm character of the home itself as well as a wood burning fire place! It was extremely easy to get around the city from this location...I would highly recommend this lovely place to stay on your visit to NYC!!

I loved it! Proprietors more than hospitable. Loved the restored, historic, clean, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and constant care (umbrellas were provided for our day of sightseeing in the rain!). Just like staying with friends! We hope to return as soon as possible!!!
