When you arrive, what to expect.:
You will be greeted on your arrival with a fully equipped home away from home, only better. Your beds will be made, towels and toiletries will be in each bathroom. There 2 TVs with full Cable, one in the living room, and larger one with DVD player and DVD collection in the den. You will love the new fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. You can dine and relax outside on the enclosed deck with large grill. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath and access to the rear deck great for a sunny breakfast. The second bedroom has a king bed, and the third bedroom has a double bed, both next to the main bathroom. There are two leather sofa's in the formal living room that fold out to double size platform beds and are quite comfortable. If you desire groceries can be delivered to your home upon arrival. I provide paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, spices and sugar, and nice coffee. This is a non smoking the home, but is allowed outside, ashtrays on decks.
The Area:
South Carolina's low country offers a unique blend of traditions, fine restaurant and history. Life goes on at a relaxed pace and the people you meet are genuine in their helpfulness and politeness. The Beaches are not over built or 'commercialized', and you never feel crowded at the beach. In Charleston you are surround by history but the town is far from sleepy, there is great site seeing and wonderful restaurants. The College of Charleston, MUSC, and the Citadel are right in town this contributes to the energy level of the city. It may take you a while to slow down once you arrive, if you are new to the area, but you will adjust quickly and enjoy the pace. I did.
Activities:
Isle of Palms has lot's of activities to offer you. Beach access is accross the street on both 26th and 25th Avenue. IOP recreation center is two blocks away on 28th Avenue, free tennis courts, basketball courts, play gyms for kids etc. There are rentals available for biking, kayaking, wave running, boat excursions and parasailing at the IOP marina on 41st Avenue. Take an eco-tour, go deep sea fishing, what ever your pleasure!
Charleston has some of the best restaurants and site seeing is an easy 20 minutes ride from you. The Isle of Palms / Mt Pleasant area offers upscale shopping, 16-movie theater and an array of restaurants of all kinds, most right off the water. Local menus, maps, and guides, will be inside the house for you. Museums and history are abundant in this area, take a horse and buggy ride downtown to get a enjoyable local history lesson and a fun ride. Tour the Calhoun museum, or Tour Fort Sumter and the Edgar Allen Poe sites on Sullivans Island, simply amazing!
Golf:
Check out the Chas Golf Guide site below for a description and details for each course. There are a plethora of nice courses in the area.

Guest Book:
06/16/2008 This house was absolutely incredible!!! The beach was conveniently accessible with two beach access points on either side of 27th ave. The owners did a great job of fully stocking the house with everything it could possibly need. If you truly want an unforgettable beach trip I highly recommend renting this house. I know that my friends and I are already trying to find a time to book it next year!
