Availability this summer! Beautiful salt-water-front cottage on Waquoit Bay in Mashpee, MA on Cape Cod. Located on Seconsett Island, a charming 'old Cape Cod' peninsula surrounded on 3 sides by salt water. The cottage has panoramic sunset views and looks out across Waquoit Bay at Martha's Vineyard and Washburn Island, an uninhabited wildlife preserve. Great spot for shellfish, birding, boating, walking, swimming, and quiet relaxation. Small private beach in front of the house on shallow gentle bay waterfront is perfect for kids.

The two-story Cape Cod style house has: 4 bedrooms (3 rooms sleep 2 people each in 1 queen-bed and 2 double-size pullout couches) and the 4th bedroom is very large with 4 twin beds -- perfect for kids or a family. Living room also has a queen-size futon. Two baths (1 with shower, 1 with tub) plus an enclosed outdoor shower (hot water) with a view of the bay. Large living room, dining room, completely equipped kitchen, and boat mooring.

Everything you wanted to know...: The kitchen is fully-equipped with dishes, glasses, pots/pans, appliances, coffee-maker, Cuisinart, and spices. Pillows and blankets are also provided. Renter needs to bring sheets and towels, although other arrangements can be made if requested several weeks in advance of visit.

You can relax and fully enjoy our waterfront amenities...or venture nearby to South Cape Beach (long, sandy beach with good surf), golf courses, Hyannis (shopping, Kennedy Compound, ferry to Nantucket), Falmouth (shopping, harbor, ferry to Martha's Vineyard), Woods Hole (quaint charm, oceanography museum, ferry to Martha's Vineyard), Sandwich (old-world style, glass museum, grist mill, scenic drive), and Heritage Plantation (antiques, gardens, antique cars).

Closer by there's movies and the Mashpee Commons shopping center, grocery stores, and a small marina on Seconsett Island. Or head further afield - about 1 hour away - to the outer Cape, where you'll find the breathtaking National Seashore, Truro, and Provincetown.
