14 miles north of Woodland Park. Our cabin is newly remodeled with an open floor plan and all the comforts of home, nestled among 50 year old giant pines, and river cottonwoods. It is located on 40 beautiful acres, once an old mining town with loads of history. Relax to the sounds of Westcreek or you may also fish out of the creek... Enjoy the large private hot tub at the end of your day of adventure, of which you'll find plenty in this area. Enjoy a night on the large wood deck with nothing but solitude and millions of stars to keep you company, while enjoying a glass of our complimentary Colorado wine. Also, don't forget the large gas grill for family, or intimate cookouts. Once here, you'll never want to leave!

Notes: We do have a separate laundry room wtih full size washer and dryer, and a folding table. also a large utility room in the laundry room with rods to hang clothing, extra towels, sheets , etc. We do allow children , however be aware that this is on a creek which can be a little deep and fast during Spring runoffs. Small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 12 must have adult present in Hot Tub at all times We do accept well behaved pets and horses for an additional fee..........

Shining Mountain Golf Course: Championship mountain golf club, just outside Woodland Park less than 20 minutes from the cabin. They also have a restaurant and bar with occasional live music.....

ATV And Dirt Bike Trails: 40 miles of well maintained awesome trails, starting about 1 mile from the cabin. There is also Rainbow Falls, just a little further down, where they also hold the motorcycle ice races in winter. If you don't mind traveling about 45 minutes, there is the ultimate, Rampart Range Trails, The Fire Tower is also located there, where you can get the most amazing 360 degree view. A bit of a hike but nothing like it.............need forest permit and must trailer off property to location. Bring your own or there is a nearby rental that will bring them out.....

Massage Available: There is a massage therapist who will come to the cabin, by appointment. Must set up appointment in advance.........

Outstanding!

One of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed as a family.

Many thanks go to owners Jim and Deb...they are wonderful hosts who went out of their way to accommodate our visit. There was simply nothing we needed they hadn't already thought of.

It is safe to say, we found this property to be much better than advertised. If you are looking for a comfortable place in the mountains to get away and relax, don't pass this one up.

What a wonderful vacation!! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The babbling brook was very relaxing to sit by in the afternoons, and the hot tub was even more enjoyable in the evening after a long hike through the mountains. The views all around the cabin were beautiful! Everything in the cabin was new and clean, and staying there was an experience I would recommend to everyone! Jim and Deb were very gracious and fun to work with. I would love to stay there again, and I am definitely going to spread the word about their wonderful mountainside cabin!!

My wife and I thought the Creekside Cabin was incredible! Jim and Deb are extraordinarily nice folks to work with and did a wonderful job accommodating us. The cabin has everything you could want for a very relaxing and worry-free stay. All of the amenities and extras were wonderful. The cabin is in a great location for doing whatever you would want in the Colorado Springs area yet far enough away to have a lot of privacy. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody!

In every way this is an awesome retreat. My wife, 16 yo daughter and I spent a long weekend with the cabin as home base for many local activities.

Every conceivable need is already taken care of down to paper towels, ziplocs and a bottle of wine. Just add food.

The views are inspiring, the cabin is charming and the sat tv and internet keep the teenagers connected enough that they don't go crazy. : ) The hot tub and the fire pit were my favorite.

WOW! This is amazingly beautiful! As natives to Colorado, we're pretty particular when it comes to mountain getaways. We only wish that we could have stayed long enough to take advantage of all the things to do. We'll be back for the fishing and horseback riding. The hot tub was perfect after a long, fun day of hiking and exploring the wonderful mountain scenery. We especially enjoyed roasting marshmellows in the firepit at the top of the peak with the kids after dark. We are planning to come back again soon.
