House, 6 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 13)

Family friendly lakefront house on the shores of large open water of Lake Marion, S.C. This SMOKEFREE house has a large cozy den/breakfast area that is wrapped in windows where a great view of the lake and sunsets are visible. The large NEWLY renovated kitchen is fully equipped with everything but the groceries! The den features a new 50' HD Television. The large master bedroom and bath are upstairs with an adjoining bedroom and 4 bedrooms are on the ground floor with 2 full bathrooms.(NEW Queen Sleep Number bed in Master BR) (Internet available upon request for long term renters). The sandy beach, Adirondack chairs, private boat landing and pier is a quiet place to watch the sun set, gaze at the stars, relax and unwind or take a calming boat ride to maybe catch a glimpse of a bald eagle. Spring months are the best for bream fishing!

Lake Marion is the home of the first ever landlocked striped bass. The B.A.S.S. circuit set new records in 2004 for average weight per day. The area is saturated with championship golf courses, but the best part is our world renowned southern hospitality!

Great Lakefront Property

We stayed over Thanksgiving 2011 and had a fantastic time. It was actually just me and my husband and we caught catfish like they were going out of style! Even though the water was low we used the beach by the dock for beaching our boat and everything worked out great. The tree swing and the view were a lot of fun. I would recommend this rental for any family looking for a great time on the lake.

This was a great vacation home for a whole family. Plenty of room and great view. The only thing that was missing was wifi access, other than that it was overall wonderful.

Our family enjoyed a peace filled, low key, comfortable weekend. Your home is lovely and well maintained. The online pictures are absolutely accurate, yet seeing the property in person left me feeling that the pictures did not do justice to just how lovely the house and lot are. The neighbors were friendly too, and it seemed that the neighborhood looked after one another. We caught only a few fish yet we enjoyed every cast. The owners were very helpful and promptly answered our questions.

We will recommend staying at your home to our friends, and we hope to stay again.

Summertime in Manning

Our family and friends recently stayed at the Lee's vacation home during the first week of August. Although the weather was hot, we stayed very comfortable in their spacious home. We really enjoyed their large kitchen and clean lake. The kids and adults swam every morning, and we had so much space to relax during the heat of the afternoon. It was a wonderful vacation! Thank you so much!

We stayed at this lake house over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We enjoyed great sunsets, lots of outdoor grilling and a completely relaxing time watching the beautiful lake views from the home!
