Accommodating up to 10 people, it is a great space for family meals or that holiday feast!
The luxurious master bedroom boasts vaulted ceilings, large windows, two closets including an office, and bathroom with two sinks. This beautiful home has level access, a sunny deck to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, parking for up to 4 cars, and is also equipped with barbeque gas grill, washer and dryer, cable televisions and a Playstation 2 for the kids.
Cathedral Pines is perfect for couples and for families, and is only minutes away from Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood ski resorts. You will have a wonderful time, any season, at this great family getaway.

Well-appointed, clean, and organized. Convenient location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our group of seasoned skiers raved when we first stepped into your house. It really is setup well for a group or family in true skier style. The bedrooms were exactly as pictured, with good amounts of space and all the amenities (even have robes in the bathrooms).
The main space with dining area, kitchen, fireplace and living room were a perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day skiing. The hot tub was in perfect working order and easy to maintain. All directions for use of the place were easy to follow and ensured that previous guests were taking the same care we did.
After getting 7 feet of snow over three days (most of which were dry powder), we were very happy that the driveway and culdesac were plowed quickly.
We absolutely recommend this home to future renters and hope you have the same experience we did.

We stayed here with our 5 year old and 8 month old for a week this past February and absolutely LOVED it. The location was great and we really enjoyed walking to the Tahoe House Bakery around the corner (a must try), even in knee deep snow! The house is close to a lot of nice restaurants as well as the grocery store, yet you still feel like you're away from it all while there. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. There were sleds available for use and a nice little sledding area practically right outside the front door. We also loved being somewhat close to Truckee as we have friends who live there and we love walking around the shops and dining up there (ask for Larissa if you go to the Truckee Starbucks!) The hot tub was a fun addition, especially while it snowed! Charlene was a pleasure to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again!
My family of four stayed for a week at Charlene's wonderful home... my boys are 3 and the great room was a perfect layout for playing and hanging out together... the details are well thought out and the house truly is more beautiful in person. My favorites about the house include the beds and the bedding - SO comfortable! I have not slept that well in years! The kitchen was excellent for cooking and well stocked with everything you need. The deck is cozy and peaceful and the jacuzzi was a hit with all family members. The house is a little close to the main road but the traffic is minimal at night and we were not there that much during the daytime to hear it. We were walking distance to Tahoe House Bakery which has pretty good food (a little pricey - but it is Tahoe) as well as coffee and desserts so it was easy pick up a little something special each day. Must find your way to the PDQ Market for deli sandwiches in Tahoma - BEST Pesto bread ever! You will not be disappointed! Pick them up on the way to Emerald Bay and picnic there. Fabulous. Secret awesome beach st D.L. Bliss campground.

We had a family trip with 6 adults and 2 kids. The amenities were perfect for our stay. The cabin is VERY close to the lake and is only a 2 minute drive to Tahoe City, the Truckee river, and the grocery stores. The kitchen was the favorite between myself and my sister in-law. The drawers were labeled and and had all the pots, pans, and utencils needed to cook our meals.
I loved the rustic/modern decorations. The pictures on the website don't do the place justice. It's better in real life. Everything was very clean and easy to find. The living space accommodated our family quite nicely. The outside deck became our favorite lounging space in the evening and the hot tub was perfect after a long hike.
The only snafu was that the water heater had a leak in the hose, but Charlene had a plumber come out quickly and had it fixed within an hour. She was very nice and was professional about the fix.
My family agreed that this is the place to stay the next time we are out in Tahoe. Thanks for the hospitality, Charlene!
We rented this home for our family get-together. We had 5 adults and one 15-month old and spent a week enjoying every minute of it. The home is beautifully furnished with anything you could want. The accommodations were very comfortable and well-appointed. We brought a gate to use at the top of the stairs so our little one would be safe. It was great having the pack-n-play available so we had one less thing to bring. The location is fantastic - bike/walking trails right there, coffee shop/bakery around the corner, walking to town a nice option. We loved it, and would recommend this home. Hope we can stay here again.
This is the best place I have rented. The decor is charming and really fits the surroundings. I love the raccoon planter, the beds, spreads, furniture, etc. Everything one needs is provided and nicely labeled making it easier to find and helps remind me what went where. The location is great as you can walk along the river or walk into Tahoe City. The only draw back, for some, might be that it is not on the lake ( but is as advertised) and you can hear the street traffic when the windows are open. The stairs up to the second floor are a little and steep, but easy to get used to. The master bedroom gets a lot of morning light. I need a dark room to sleep so I slept downstairs a couple nights. We enjoyed the hot tub. I thought there might be some puzzles and games around but I didn't see any. Someone before us had put a pitcher away that was sticky and dirty but no one would have known unless they were going to use. I washed it and it was good to go.
I would definitely rent this house again from Charlene, if I'm up this way, and I would love for her to come decorate MY house. You won't be sorry if you stay here!
Our home is within 1 block of the paved walk/bike path into Tahoe City. The paved trail/path not only goes into town, just 0.8 miles, but also runs along the Truckee River, and up to Squaw Valley (4 miles) for those biking enthusiasts. Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows is approx 15 minutes away by car, and Homewood Resort is 10 minutes away.
