This charming cottage offers a relaxing getaway, located in a quiet yet accessible corner of the village. Perfect for couples and families - pets are welcome! One and half blocks to Pentwater school (with very large playground), public library, and Artisan center. Five blocks to downtown shopping and restaurants. Just under one mile to gorgeous sugar sand beach. One of Pentwater's earliest homes, the cottage has been updated throughout. Three bedrooms, 1 bath, able to sleep 7. Main floor bedroom with double bed, living room with pull out sofa. Upstairs bedrooms have twin bed, and twin with trundle bed. Fully stocked kitchen, charcoal grill available. Deck off of kitchen leads to very large, private back yard. Amenities include washer/dryer, TV/VCR/DVD player, CD player, video & book library, games & toys. Off season rates available. Pentwater is often referred to as the Nantucket of Michigan. A small village, bustling with activity in the summer months. The public beach boasts over a mile of white, sugar,sand beach with excellent swimming, while sailboats glide in and out the adjacent channel. Band concerts, farmer's markets, fashion shows, and art fairs adorn the village green in the center of town. Evenings bring beautiful sunsets, fireflies, and time for socializing at the local restaurants and bars, often with live music. Additional public beaches are within an easy drive, at Summit Park, Ludington Beach, and Silver Lake. Silver Lake, a 15 minute drive, has sand dunes, dune buggy rides, and the largest lighthouse on the west MIchigan coast.
