Lots of parking on street and secure detached garage & RV pad in back. Enjoy spacious living areas that have been newly remodeled. Decorator bedding & comfy clean beds. Three levels afford your family or group room to stretch out or a little privacy...Upstairs has master bedroom with a Cal king bed and large view deck. You can watch the fireworks from Sea World & glimpse the downtown skyline or ocean. Upstairs also has a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. Close to All: Close to all! Some San Diego Beach areas get very crowded in summertime. This home is nicely situated only 10 blocks to the beach. You will be able to park at any time at home and not worry about finding a spot! Big Von's grocery store is just down Jewell Street and Henry's and Trader Joe's are close by as well. Easy access to freeway and fast exit to Sea World and the Zoo. Great safe family neighborhood.

A Wonderful Experience

Our party of three families had a wonderful experience in this home. Getting into the home was smooth, there was plenty of space for all of the children to play and enjoy themselves. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for food and fun. We were close to the beach and had a good view of the fireworks on the 4th of July; a very nice and accommodating owner as well. The home was worth the money and we would definitely consider staying again should we all head back to San Diego.

Incredible location for fireworks

Our party (4 families) enjoyed the stay. The children enjoyed sliding down the stairs, viewing the fireworks, and playing upstairs every night (while the parents enjoyed adult conversation). The accomodations were great! It was a cozy home in a prime location! Pacific beach is really 10 blocks away (although long blocks - we counted!). The restaurants and grocery stores were walking distance. Most of all, we were able to view fireworks every night from the upstairs balcony or family room. We actually decided to stay at the house July 4th and avoid the crowded scene of Pacific Beach. The owner was very courteous, responsive, and pleasant to work with. I look forward to renting one of the other homes she owns.

Great house, Close to the beach

Christinamaria was wonderfully accomodating and a pleasure to work with. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed for the week (including papertowels and trash bags). The grill outside and the connecting sliding door into the den with the game table was great for weekend evenings. The beds were all comfortable and the layout was ideal for our large group. The home is a bit of a walk from the beach. However, if it definitely walkable in about fifteen minutes and if your feeling lazy there are many places to park closer to pacific beach. Loved the experience!

Great family home!

Thank you Christamaria for all your help. This was a great spot for my families getaway. The big family room was perfect for our big family. We really enjoyed being in a home with new furnishings as well. My kids loved the big "mermaid" room and all the extra space. Great choice instead of a hotel! It was so easy getting to all the local spots and so nice to have so much parking available. Thanks for the reasonable rates too...

Good Week

This rental was nice and we appreciated it...it was just a little different than we expected. You really can't see that beach view at all from the house...actually we never found it. We drove to La Jolla Shores to go to the beach because Pacific wasn't nice at all. No Air Conditioning, which is normally not a problem but SD was experiencing a heat wave. The realtor was super nice and very helpful. Overall, a very good experience!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your response. We take pride in having clean and modern interior furnishings. It is definetely much more modern and new inside than many other vacation rentals and we are happy that our guests enjoy that.
Please not that San Diego is normally quite breezy and has moderate temperatures. An occasional "Santa Ana" condition will occur throughout the year and the whole city can get quite hot. This guest did come during that time...
We have interior window coverings that need to be drawn shut while the house is closed up and you are at the beach during those sunny days. We provide room fans inside and a gas bbq grill outside to relax by.
The home is 10 blocks from the beach. You are not across the street from the beach but you will have AMPLE parking compared to beach rentals that are at least twice as pricey!
The upstairs master balcony has a peek a boo view view of the San Diego downtown skyline, Sea World tower and fireworks during summer and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. You cannot see the beach from the home since it is 10 blocks away. I'm sorry this guest did not understand the logistics of this rental. It is wonderfully situated close to Mission Beach beaches, Pacific Beach beaches and La Jolla beaches.
